Feel like Lauko was involved to make the money work.

Cheap young forward plus the prodigal son Lauko back. Definitely a more interesting return than a 3rd or 4th for Brazzers like I was expecting.

This Khusnutdinov is interesting. 23 years old in July, RFA. Has dressed in 57 of 62 games in Minnesota. He's taken over 400 face-offs (4th on team) so he's a center. Not great face-off numbers though. 11 minutes a game. 2nd rounder 2020.

Considering Brazeau was a UFA seems like a decent return. Should help earlier than some 4th round pick in 2028.

Khuznutdinov is a recent 2nd rounder with KHL success, a bit of NHL experience and a positive profile…and a center at that. Would you seriously prefer a 5th rounder over him for Brazeau? C’mon. Bruins have roster spaces to fill and Lauko was fine as a 13th forward.
