What has gotten into you today?Sounds like Dave's privates are a touchy subject.

What has gotten into you today?
Then I for one, hope they continue this spiral. I can't imagine how good this could get when you reach your final form!I'm usually at my funniest when the Bruins suck, so I'm absolutely hysterical right now.
Well other teams see it differently...Anyhow whatever happens, happensBesides, not sure a Nashville Chicago game is where you'd go to find solutions. Problems sure, solutions though?
All kidding aside. Could not agree more. Although I bet a couple of the total dicks on the main boards are even bigger total dicks in person!![]()
By all accounts looks like Sweeney makes a deal on the day of the championship game.
Yea, i get the point of closing it, because I think it would of been pretty unanimous in trading him, as are most of the quotes in all the other Marchand threads, but it would of been something to checkout during the break, unless of course you were in favor of keeping Marchy. LolThe thread you started will poll that was closed there was 10 people that voted. One voted keep Marchand and try and make playoffs for the Ichiro moment .And b4 u say a word it was not me![]()
I still don't get why everyone is wanting far out futures. Draft picks will be players ready to play when Pasta is old.
Well someone with some thought to the situation, Donnie should give you a call, not perfect, but none of us have a perfect plan, but at least it is a thought.I still don't get why everyone is wanting far out futures. Draft picks will be players ready to play when Pasta is old.
This team needs a hard re-tool, the plan seems really obvious to me.
Definitely Out:
Coyle
Carlo
Braz
Fredrick
Maybe;
Sway
Marchand
For 20-23 year old players, not picks. Or if picks flip them for players
Could imagine this team without him this year. Revenue for the playoffs for this year wouldn’t even be a thoughtMaybe the simple solution is trading Pasta
Then we have no good players!
Well Jacobs would keep ,the cap space and not spend to the cap, problem solved for JackobsCould imagine this team without him this year. Revenue for the playoffs for this year wouldn’t even be a thought
do you want 63 back or are you just cutting the cord? not a ton of leadership on this roster and he can still play.Yes, I would be open with him about it, try to get him where he wants to be, but in the end, there are 20 plus teams he can be dealt to without his consent, so I would hope he understands it's a business at this point.
Yep two home playoff games and pasta salary would probably be pretty close to a wash.Well Jacobs would keep ,the cap space and not spend to the cap, problem solved for Jackobs
They might just trade expiring contracts to add picks. If the team isn’t going to make the playoffs then they will add as many picks and prospects as they can.If the Bruins make a trade, when does everyone think they make the first one? My guess is a few days before the trade deadline.
Then where do they go from there, picks will be 3-4 maybe 5 years away, do they FA, and what would they be looking at, what is the outlook with Pasta and McAvoy, if they do not have a playoff team next year and after, do you trade them also, or do they flip some picks for instant help..........Bottom line there is a lot going on, and tough decisions to be made, do we have the right people in position to make these decisions and do they have a plan. They might just trade expiring contracts to add picks. That's where I am at.Does Boston have the right people in place to make such picks if they aquire them?Nothing suggests they do .Then where do they go from there, picks will be 3-4 maybe 5 years away, do they FA, and what would they be looking at, what is the outlook with Pasta and McAvoy, if they do not have a playoff team next year and after, do you trade them also, or do they flip some picks for instant help..........Bottom line there is a lot going on, and tough decisions to be made, do we have the right people in position to make these decisions and do they have a plan.
He can still play but at what number? Not totally opposed but I am tired of this group, We had the ultimate **** tease of the guys coming back for 2022-23 which ended up as a troll... I love what he brought, great hockey, great entertainment but it's time for the next group to be the leaders and move away from the old guard. Just ready to move into a new era of Bruins hockey and I would like a new GM from another organization to make some tough decisions on players he or she may or may not view as highly as the current regime. Just tired of seeing the same guys lose when they should win and lose when they should lose. When they win its generally a super human goalie performance too. Damn we basically owe a world of thanks to the Toronto Maple Leafs franchise because without them it would be a lot worsedo you want 63 back or are you just cutting the cord? not a ton of leadership on this roster and he can still play.
i said it before, but i'd try to go the keith tkachuk from STL to ATL route - grab the assets and then sign him on july 1.
It’s for this reason I’m dealing pasta - makes no sense to keep him when his greater value is restockingI still don't get why everyone is wanting far out futures. Draft picks will be players ready to play when Pasta is old.

With a talent like pastrnak you have a better chance at a quick retool. It’s for this reason I’m dealing pasta - makes no sense to keep him when his greater value is restocking
We got our cup, we got two other tries - it’s time for a new era
Side note you can hold this opinion without disrespecting a hall of fame bruins with by calling him stupid, unimaginative names
Too soon. Too soon. That was weirdly specific. Anything you want to share with the class?
And Boom!!!!Sounds like Dave's privates are a touchy subject.
Yep. People are acting like this is an expansion team. They have a lot of pieces already in place, they just need a change in the front office to bld around them. Sweeney has proven he’s not that guyWith a talent like pastrnak you have a better chance at a quick retool.
