Id rather keep Marchand and trade Coyle and Carlo! How often do players leave at the deadline with the assumption they'll come back in the off-season and it never happens?

We need more top 6 players, not less! Also, I don't want tonsuck for 3-4 years when Pasta is in his prime.

What about the Kings for Marchand? They have a 1st, Brandt Clarke, Liam Greentree...
Same thing I've been thinking since that Nelson deal. 1st + a top prospect suddenly feels very much in play as a return for Marchand, and Brandt Clarke has been a scratch a bunch recently.

If you can do that then you can also flip Carlo for a haul without having to worry about fill the 2RD hole this summer.

Can't see them giving up Clarke or Greentree so the 1st looks like it.

Nelson is 3 years younger than Marchand and a center.

Sweeney did good with the return on Jones, Frederic and Brazeau but the real test waits ahead with trades/returns on Coyle, Carlo and Marchand. Carlo and Marchand are the biggest chips and have to return at least two very good prospects. No to very late first rounders. If you don't get enough for Carlo they have to revisit again at the draft.

I like the matchup with the Kings, but I would suspect Brad would be less excited about going to that level of “contender”. I do think they want to leave it on good terms. Of course, there is a price for everything.

With Dallas and Colorado off the board I don’t think Marchand moves today. Ultimately I’m fine with it, I just hope he doesn’t walk.

I'm a huge Marchand fan but they cannot let him walk for nothing, if they can't come to an agreement he has to be traded. Hopefully he would reup with the Bruins in the summer.

I’m so torn on Marchand. I’ll be happy if they keep him. I’ll also be happy and sad if they trade him. I’d love to see him get a chance with a contender and I’d hate to see him walk in the offseason for nothing in return.

Marchand wants 4 years.

Bruins offered 2.

Marchand has said he wants to play until he is 40.
Let him choose the team and he can go where ever he wants. The return at this point is the return. Better than nothing. Bring him back next year, the C is still his.

Know how you can restrict channels on your TV so that kids can't watch them?

Can we restrict Don from just drafting? And only let him trade?

I feel like if we just let him trade and let someone else draft, we'd get much better! Because I really like his trades.

OK but he’s been under paid for a long time,do you think he would do the 4 years for 5 mil per?
He accepted the contract so that isn't the teams problem. 4x5M would be a ridiculous contract to hand him, 2 years max and year to year after that. I'm still in the trade him camp.
