People can tune in, tune out, eat tuna fish. They can do what they want

We are all different. I’m interested and see a quick way back while still having a good team

The drafts not considered strong but there will still be very good players to be had - it’s not exactly science

We shall see

If you leave and come back whenever they are good again all the best and hope to see you down the road
Oh, I haven't been watching like before this year; it's not enjoyable and I find you leave the game more angry or frustrated afterwards than before so that's no way to spend free time.

I think it's frustrating to watch and wonder what the plan is. More fun or entertaining to discuss that with fellow fans than watch a Bruins game recently.

You make good points. The odds are really against you, especially in a weak draft.

If the Bruins are sellers (including Marchand) I think there is a good chance they could drop into the top10. They're drafing 13th right now and the Rangers, Red Wings and Islanders all looked poised to pass them.

I'm far from an expert on draft eligible prospects, but there are 5 centers listed on most of the top10 lists...

Hagens
Misa
Frondell
McQueen
Desnoyers

Hagens and Misa are having the kinds of seasons you'd expect from a future #1c, but they're expected to be gone by the 3rd pick. The top-end potential of the other guys seems a bit murkier (to me) for one reason or another. There's also a kid named Carter Bear who is ranked in the middle of the draft who looks promising, but again, if his upside was obvious as a #1C then he'd be ranked higher.

I guess the question becomes, who's the player you trade the pick for?

(Feel free to move to the draft thread if there is one.)

Jake O'Brien is another interesting center prospect. Late birthday. Was already a ppg player in the OHL at 16 years of age. Right now seems to be ranked mostly a little bit outside of the top ten. McKenzie has him at #9.

Bruins lose today I’d think Sweeney has to see the writing on the wall and start peddling players. I would think he would want to do it before and not during or even after the break, but who knows maybe he’s way ahead of the game and already has 3-4 moves on the table. One thing for certain, is this team needs a jolt and it’s going to take more than another coaching change.

Everyone not named Pasta, McAvoy should be in play. I’d move Swayman for a top 3 forward otherwise he stays.

I’d like to keep tfred but I think he’s gone. I’d move Carlo, Coyle and Marchand. 3 players with great playoff experience and could make the difference for a lot of teams and should all fetch pretty desirable returns.

If Sweeney or Neely or whoever it is calling the shots don’t become sellers, imo their already have one foot in the door on their way out, because it’s more than apparent this team isn’t going anywhere this year.

I think or they should know by now what to do. If not, it’s Charlie’s fault.

I think we should trade all of our emotionless passengers. We would only have Kastelic, Marchand and Wotherspoon left.

Whoa big guy

Marchand needs a sedative he’s completely out of control

As my mom used to say ‘he doesn’t know if he’s on foot or horseback ‘

And Wortherspoon is so random lol

Did anyone see the flyers/flames trade? Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee to Calgary for a bag of pucks and some snapwax. I’m sure there’s some money guys that will wax poetic about cap implications but on the surface it looks like something that could have easily been done. Frost would be our most talented C on the team and Farabee your most skilled winger after 88. It would help now and down the road.

I’m all retool so yes

Chara brought in is ridiculous it’s a sham

Everytime I look up he’s in some place you need a plane to get to

He can’t be following the league hard and he’d certainly not recommending trading Brad, Coyle, Carlo

Vegas (Cassidy), Colorado (McKinnon), Edmonton all make sense for 63

You flip him for 3 pieces and agree to resign after season

Go on vacation come back you can still be Captain

Do they have the balls to do it

They should

Give me Vegas in the Spring with Brad & Bruce and all the sad puppy eyes Bruins watching our two national treasures chase the Cup

Donny let’s retool

Both are more valuable here if they can be resigned for reasonable money. 4th and 5th round picks in a bad draft? Better off packaged in something larger if they won’t/can’t resign
Yes exactly

If you are moving out Coyle & Frederic assuming he’s not signed by trade deadline I want to put out 2 guys like that

They can retool and still hit 90 points and be spunky

Next years draft projects strong / id be looking to get 3 or 4 added top 75 picks in 2026 (middle of third)

Every game, every loss we all think “ Ok this is the day we see changes of some sort. There has to be a move now. Yet, somehow we see the same thing every game. At this point I wonder if we even have a GM? If we do, why is he hiding? No statements, comments… nothing.

I thought he had a great off-season at the time. I liked the signings and loved the Linus trade. It’s beyond time for this unavailable GM to be fired. Talk about not being held accountable. I bet there would be plenty of Sweeney sightings if we were leading the division.

Sure they can go for him but I don’t see Carolina F’n this up and the Bruins can’t negotiate till July 1 and logic says he’s been signed. I can see minimum 8/100

He gets to play with his guy Aho

Im the Bruins GM I’m watching Necas and using Pastrnak to recruit him

He’s my big fish and gives me a projectible goal a more a game out of my top two RW
i am not against Necas either, I could get on board with him.

Florida has to be salivating at the cap rise with that core locked up on what were already reasonable deals
interesting point

I like it sense Swayman has no trade protection, but I’d move Swayman though I do it for a much more cost control Center in Mason McTavish.

Swayman and Coyle for McTavish and Gibson. Re-sign McTavish 8x8 that way salaries become pretty much a wash and you have your young cost control Center for the next decade.

Gives you room to sign other FA and move forward towards a 2027 Stanley Cup Banner

Although Rantanen or Marner would be sweet, but boy are they ever going to get paid.
Swayman does not have no trade protection, so that is why he should be moved now.

Marchand, is the captain, and commits three dumb penalties, in the last two games, all in the offensive zone.
