Wasn't Lindholm being slotted more accordingly and playing 3rd line-minutes?This is a full series recap but if you saw the highlights from the other one (game one where Miller, Zadorov and Lindholm were the heroes with Garland) game five was more of the same. 14:32 mark.
Edmonton Vs. Vancouver Series
Miller negative for me is contract, age, Lindholm negative for me, contract, age, and production make that deal.He may have loved playing there. Been brutal in Boston.
He won a 2013 WJC as a key player on the US Team. He’s an asshole. He’s never won anything. And he’s blown up the Vancouver locker room twice.
All set.
Not really. They don't need to trade their franchise center when they could just resign Lankinen who has been just as good, if not better than Swayman this year and then call up Silovs. This makes more sense as far as terms of a possibility, as any trade between the Bruins and Canucks. Both Swayman and Pettersson have no current trade protection and Demko wants out. Make it happen Sweeney!
He also got 99 points in 80 games and his last 30 SCPO games has 30 points in 30 games.I like Miller too but let's not go crazy here. Miller has only a single 100 point season is his career and has 56 points in 91 career Playoff games.
I don't think his production, would be an issu, my only concern is his contract and age, and there thoughts that he could be injured. He also got 99 points in 80 games and his last 30 SCPO games has 30 points in 30 games.
Everyone? The Defenseman, that at everyone wants gone.
I wanted the NYR #1 pick with Kreider and Schneider for McAvoy. K reader has been vin and out of the lineup with a supposed back issue.I just checked and Kreider who is supposedly now useless, has 14 goals. Seems like only Marchand and Pasta have more. Just saying.
80% of the players haven’t won anything. He won a 2013 WJC as a key player on the US Team.
our PK SUCKS and so does our defensive game. He’s on the ice the most. He’s been terrible. The Defenseman, that at everyone wants gone.
Trading a 27 yr old core player during a down year for the entire team isn’t a move I’d make80% of the players haven’t won anything.

last three years prior to this season, he has over 100 goals, close to 600 hits, fo % higher than Lindholm, has missed only 4 games in those three years. this season has mor PP goals than anyone on the Bruins. I am not saying he is someone to go out and get, but he is a player the Bruins are in need of. Go get him and Kreider, and this team would be pretty interesting. I am not saying and can be done, or saying it should be done, but must all admit this team might be more exciting. Before anyone wets their pants, I know about the cap.I like Miller too but let's not go crazy here. What is your future outlook for Poitras look like?Including Poitras in a trade for a forward on the wrong side of 30 is a radical move
You want to live through another Jumbo Joe trade?I wanted the NYR #1 pick with Kreider and Schneider for McAvoy. K reader has been vin and out of the lineup with a supposed back issue.
I think the deal would be Zacha and Carlo… if the Canucks are looking to salvage their season. If it’s a young guy as part of the package, we’re stuck with a cap overage to account for as well. And assuming we see Poitras as a middle-six C and Lohrei as an everyday member of the blueline, we’re losing a cheap player at a key position.Agreed. 100 pt 1st line C who are PPG in the playoffs and scream at fellow teammates that don't bring the same effort?
It's a much stronger dressing room and culture in Boston. Miller would become a fan favourite like he was here last year in Vancouver.
My guess? Carlo and Poitras? Coyle and Lohrei? Someone to replace Miller (downgrade) and then upgrade the D.
I'd also welcome Pettersson coming in with a fresh start and Pastrnak as his linemate in Boston but you have to understand that he is a quieter, more laid back Krejci and his personality comes off as super laid back and casual. Will Bruins fans and the media be as angry with him that the Vancouver fans, media and some mentioned teammates are?
I’d hope he turns into a 2nd line center who uses his slick hands and hockey IQ to setup his scoring wingers. Not a big kid but potentially learns how to use his body to protect the puck. Basically Krejci. Toffoli makes $6M a year for three more years after this.Goal scorers is what we need. go after Panarin, Taffoli, or DeBrincat
all would take salary back. Here goes nothing.Toffoli makes $6M a year for three more years after this.
Panarin makes $11.6M for one more year and would cost everything not nailed down.
Why is Detroit trading DeBrincat?
all would take salary back. Here goes nothing.
Agree Tof too
Much
Mac for Pan Mac back home
Detroit needs beef. Fred plus.
Mac would definitely go to NYC. And i heard Detroit is interested in Fred. I said Fred plus. It’s all what ifs. I was bored. Both Pani and Mac decline that trade.
DeBrincat pretty much forced his way to Detroit, he's not being moved and Fred doesn't even start the conversation.
I'd be shocked if Sweeney deals Tfred to the wings or any eastern team, but I guess anythings possible considering the return.Mac would definitely go to NYC. And i heard Detroit is interested in Fred. I said Fred plus. It’s all what ifs. I was bored.
If he didn't ice the puck and won a few board battles maybe those numbers would be different. Grossly overrated player, time to move on from him. Peeke is a better DmanWho leads the team in blocked shots?
