This year he has been.
Funny I thought best post of the season.
and Carlo has been pretty bad....No, Peeke has not been better than Carlo.
Yes he has!and Carlo has been pretty bad....
Bring back Clode before dropping the interim title on Sacco
Stop redefinig Family to fit your agument. Not sure what "block" you are talking about. Stop trying to be clever its not working.Well, you might want to offer up an apology.
Charlie is the Boston Bruins CEO and Alternate Governor to the NHL. Yes, he happens to be Jeremy Jacobs son. That said, I would assume he’s also a part owner, or if not one would think he’s a pretty good candidate for being so in not too far future. Would you agree?
If going after Jeremy (Owner) and Charlie (CEO) is somehow equated to having a go at the Jacobs “family” that’s complete and utter bullshit. And you know it - not should know it — you know it.
You’re entitled to disagree and think my criticism is overblown. Have at it.
By the way, since you seem to have a block here — I mean this for you, not your family. Jesus…..
Sweeney has made some nice deals at the deadline, Coyle,Johansson,Bertuzzi, Orlov and Hathaway problem is all those guys walked except Coyle. If he sticks around and makes a deal, I want a player with term and that player to be a difference maker.I'm thinking two ways to handle this:
If #2, do they keep Sacco on for the rest of the season/playoffs (if any), and then make a decision on him at season's end? I'd be inclined to say yes. Otherwise, just way too much change all at once for the current players.
- Give Sweeney one last chance to make some significant trades to try to fix this roster this season. He's actually swung some very good trades in his time as GM. Then, if the team still flounders, fire him and Cam at end of season. Bring in a new GM/Pres, they hire a new coach, make off-season moves... move forward. Problem is, every other GM knows DS is trying to save his job, so they'll be more inclined to hold strong to their terms and what they want.
- Fire Sweeney now and let the new GM/Pres fix the roster as they see fit.
Yeah I think you missed this completely LOLExcept it's January. Slick one from the media team again.
At 8th seed you are playing meaningful games last 6 weeks which is fun/entertaining.Definitely a lot less stressful being the 8th seed because as a fan you don't expect as much, and we all know from that record breaking season that regular season proves nothing.
I'm on the fence if I want them to make it and see if they can surprise a team or two or just sell off a bit of their UFAs and regroup for next year.
Next few months should be interesting either way
I don't think #2 is realistic. Firing Sweeney likely means a lengthy search for a new GM. I think about the Chiarelli hiring and how that took weeks to unfold with interviews of multiple options. In the meantime, you've got Cam running the deadline.I'm thinking two ways to handle this:

If you think you can win with that third line you are ....not going to say, and second line leaves a lot to be desired. You also better hope that Hampus is healthy.Holy crap! is that the rumor? The only substance you are trading is Zacha. Fred and Carlo are a good salary dump and lysell is lysell. Would hurt more if it was Poitras.
Look againThink they'll run it to the deadline and deal if they're out of it. If they're still in it I don't see any big moves other than for some younger-ish players with term who might help this year and going forward a bit.
They're not going to go all in on rentals and they're not going to give up on the year till it's out of reach.
This will be the weekend something happens after they return to Boston .Especially if they lose the next twoI think we will all be disappointed. I am more disappointed they aren't even shaking it up slightly by calling up some of the kids that are playing well in providence.
No they wouldn't. Not sure why folks are so locked into this thinking. It is possible to make more than one deal.
You send Vancouver Carlo, Poitras and a 1st. If they want Frederic sure include him, otherwise you deal Frederic and Coyle off to other teams that are looking for 3rd line depth.
I watched the Nucks Caps game last night, and the Pettersson less Nucks team played very well despite getting pushed around by Wilson and the Caps, TFred would be a welcome addition.you are totally correct the Bs could do a series of deals that get them cap compliant but I just don't have the confidence that DS - who comes across as a very linear thinker- has the creativity to pull of multiple trades ...would love to be wrong
I think for Petterson the Canucks are looking for more - and could get more- than Carlo, Poitras and a 1st but it's a good starting point ....that package might get you Miller
Petterson + Pasta means 2 guys making over 11 M and Petterson is underperforming. Miller, please.you are totally correct the Bs could do a series of deals that get them cap compliant but I just don't have the confidence that DS - who comes across as a very linear thinker- has the creativity to pull of multiple trades ...would love to be wrong

Yeah I think you missed this completely LOL
