So much for that. No size, no contributions after the preseason.
Must not have wanted to go the AHL.
Nah.I wonder if he'll end up playing for Canada in the Spengler Cup.
Don't really get what Beecher has brought over Koepke this year besides faceoffs. Would have sat him instead.“Wahlstrom will make his Bruins debut Thursday night in Edmonton, skating on the third line with Charlie Coyle and Trent Frederic. Mark Kastelic will slide back down to the fourth line with McLaughlin and Johnny Beecher, while Cole Koepke draws out.”
Nah.
Let him play for Team USA
Yea really makes you wonder. I for one would of thought there would of been a better return and if he omitted eastern teams from acquiring him because he was afraid of what Kakko could do against the Rags down the road, that’s just terrible GMing and not having confidence in your ability. Or maybe there just wasn’t much of a market out there for him.Or he Really likes Borgen.Man kakko went for peanuts. I guess rags dont wanna deal with rivals is my guess.
Agree, he may catch on with an NHL team looking for a depth player, but I think he ends up playing in Europe.Johnson was a low risk signing at cheap money that didn’t work out. One of those moves that was worth a chance. Can’t really blame Sweeney for it.
More likely he shuts it downAgree, he may catch on with an NHL team looking for a depth player, but I think he ends up playing in Europe.
Yes that is a possibility as well, maybe gets into coaching at some level.More likely he shuts it down

Initially I thought you were being sarcastic, but then your post kept going.Fredric is way better than Geekie. Look how fast Fredric skates. He is a lot better at carrying the puck too. He hits more. He fights.

Yea but he was expensive to get they gave up a decent forward in kakko.Borgen's a right shot defenseman.
He can replace Trouba.

I have never seen how "fast" Frederic skates. And I've rarely seen him bring his physicality in high temperature games that actually matter.
If any GM wants to overpay for him, I wouldn't think twice.
But can he though? Trouba is way better imo.Borgen's a right shot defenseman.
