Swayman poison pill. This will go on for years.
Great news, a player with a pulse
Yeah not a lot of clarification though if it's in regards to Swayman and management or team and Swayman.Swayman poison pill. This will go on for years.
My guess it's all the above, how can it not be.Yeah not a lot of clarification though if it's in regards to Swayman and management or team and Swayman.
It also means maybe you guys have no idea of what you are talking about. Saying it shouldn't matter is laughable, actually there is no word to describe how dumb this thinking is.
Yeah God forbid a 9.5 million dollar "franchise" (snicker) defensemen should elevate his partners game. It's shouldn't matter if it's Lohrei, Zadorov or Lindholm. He should be able to adjust his game, considering he is "elite".It also means maybe you guys have no idea of what you are talking about. Probably means Kastelic is out for a bit right? Don't know why they'd need another 4th line body otherwise.
Sweeney and Neely are better than Lucky Lucciano when it comes to being Teflon. These guys are amazing. Sign a 5 million dollar third pair defenseman instead of getting some scoring punch, Swayman's fault.Swayman poison pill. This will go on for years.
And here we thought watching 40 plus years of hockey each we had some idea we knew what was going on. Bubble burst. You really need to open your mind to other points of view.
You seem to have a very angry aura at this point.
Carolina has no need for Carlo, either.
Their D is solid, 3 LD and 3 RD.
Who else would we need to add to Carlo? Not getting that player for the likes of Carlo, you can also say goodby to our first rounder.
Friedman is known for suggesting intangible soft crap like this as reasons for certain situations around the NHL. Does it all the time on HNIC, talking out of his rear end.
The fact that Boston is struggling to score or generate anything offensively has nothing to do with Swayman's supposedly lingering hurt feelings.
Swayman needs to put in his big boy pants and get the f*** over this. Between the arbitration stuff, and now the contract negotiation....which he ended up being paid very well, it's time to shut the f*** up about it, move on, and play to the potential we've seen.
Friedman is a legit hockey insider.
Extremely well thought of.

I can't imagine people in the locker room want to listen to the world is me bullshit any longer, especially guys like Marchy who've been around it plenty of times.
He does get a lot of inside info. He also does a lot of speculating and "I think" which is exactly what this is.
Well, that is his job.
One of my fears coming into this season, although generally i was happy with their additions, was that they "overcorrected" their size issues and we'd be stuck with a one dimensional, big and slow team. IMO that is exactly what we are seeing right now and the issued are multiplied because what was supposed to be a strength in our D corps is now seemingly a problem. It is. But no reason for fans to put much stock in his speculating and "I think". He's trying to find a reason why the Bruins have struggled this year, because he doesn't watch all of their games (nor would I expect him too) nor is focused on their stats or metrics. He's got 32 teams to cover.
In this case I think his speculation is bull-shit. This is simply a bad team that lacks talent and that is playing poorly and may have tuned out their coach.

I think you're wrong. Swayman has been bad. He's 65th in the NHL in goals saved above expected. That stat takes out the gross back door goals that are the D's fault and just looks at shots where 99% of the goalies in the league consistently make that save. He's 65th. That means he's not only been the worst starter in the league but every team also has a backup (including Boston) that's been better. Korpisalo is 28th on that list behind the same defense.Am I wrong though? It's not the goaltenders fault the Bruins are averaging under 2.00 goals per game the past month?
I think it’s more the management has hard feeings.Swayman needs to put in his big boy pants and get the f*** over this.
