They get deployed against the other teams top line. Speed would be a huge issue.Still think Brazeau would fit well with Marchand and Coyle.

Frederic is faster than Marchand? Right.Poitras, Geekie and Fredric are faster than all three players you named.
Enough speed to get in behind the defence on the forecheck.
Brazeau is as close to a bottom 6 lock as I can figure. He wants this way too badly.
Frederic is a very good passer. He's got speed too. He may not have that first step quickness that Marchand has, but he has a great stride and good straight line speed. Remember last year when he caught MacKinnon on back checks? Twice. And neither is Frederic.

agreed, if the B`s felt he was a lock, not so sure they would have gone out and signed some of the names they did this summerI actually think it’s far from a lock.

Freddy is not going to be cheap on his next deal. Extremely underrated player in these parts.Frederic is a very good passer. He's got speed too. He’s dreaming if he thinks he’s getting top money. Too invisible at times for his build.Freddy is not going to be cheap on his next deal. Extremely underrated player in these parts.
He is my choice to have a big season,At least I hope.

He's always been underrated. I always felt like people wanted him to be more of an energy guy/fighter and ignored his more skillful qualities. He's always been a good skater, always been an underrated passer.Freddy is not going to be cheap on his next deal. Extremely underrated player in these parts.

On a good hockey team, he's a solid, middle 6 depth guy who can play wing and center. Good player to have on your roster. Not somebody you break the bank to try to retain. If he continues to improve this season, I'll re-evaluate my opinion. He's always been underrated. I think the Bruins wanted him to develop into a Coyle type and I think he's done that.
still think he would be even a better center than winger, but that ship has sailed I'm guessing. On a good hockey team, he's a solid, middle 6 depth guy who can play wing and center. He 's improved greatly over the last two seasons, his biggest mistake was kicking Tanev's ass in his first call up.On a good hockey team, he's a solid, middle 6 depth guy who can play wing and center. All going to depend on how he produces this season. He's a UFA after this season, and I think Geekie is as well. Freddy's heavier and more inclined to throw mitts, but other than that, there's not much separating the two, in my opinion. Both are solid middle 6 guys.He 's improved greatly over the last two seasons, his biggest mistake was kicking Tanev's ass in his first call up.
He's not a great fighter but a very willing player to do so if needed. He scores goals, has nice hands and can play wing or center with size.
Bruins will not be able to afford or keep him if he duplicates last season or better.
