Bergeron comments have little to do with each other. Pay attention Ozzy.

Prime Bergeron, means #37 at age 27 , not age 38 to compete for Cup with that having little to do with Kreider.

My response on I'll have what your smoking is strictly a response to your ridiculous Kreider vs Bergeron impact statement.
No, my statement wasn’t ridiculous. I didn’t know you were talking about Bergeron from 15 years ago. I don’t want today’s Bergeron anywhere near the ice. I think he’s better off selling Sals Pizza anyways.

I still think if we could add Kreider we win the east and make an impact in the playoffs. This team is not as bad as last night.

I don't know how, I don't know for whom but this team needs a big shake up trade. Sinden was an artist at them, pulling them off at the right time.
DS needs to follow up on the coaching change and figure out who to target and how to get them, ASAP.
I agree with you, this team will not go through this year no matter what managers decide to do. In my opinion these players should be exchanged in return for any capital: Coyle, Carlo, Geekie. Recall Poitras, Merkulov and Viel in place of Mclaughlin... I would even consider the possibility of exchanging Swayman because really the guy does not seem to live up to expected standards and shows little evidence that they could return, the full NMC will start in 2027

I’m starting to wonder if that SayHeySway or whatever person that was posting every 15 minutes in the Swayman threads this summer was a Gross burner account.

I’m just starting to think it’s two top six forwards away and not one. Lindholm, Coyle and Frederic have all been crap and Pasta kinda looks like he is sick of carrying all the water. We probably under appreciated what he did last year.

Now wait for good ol' Bruin strategy of changing a dollar (Pasternak) for two dimes(JT Miller and Pius Suter)

At this point, give me a retained Laine in Boston on half that contract.

4 GP, 3G, 1A

PPG forward on the 2nd line RW. Teams have to deal with Pastrnak and then him. Still only 26 years old.
Nice try retained, that ain't happening, and him coming here is not either. Last summer was the time to get him, Montreal, took him with no retention, for a million more than Lindholm you might have had him. Must emphasis might, have had him, Donnie would be involved, so who knows how that would work out.

Yeah I was pretty much screaming for him this summer when he was free and perhaps you could pay some for CLB retention.

This sucks. Had a fantastic last year. Injury concern? Or Bruins don’t see potential.
I think it was just a function of the injury timing. Had he been healthy in camp he would have gone through waivers with the other hundred players that get sent down at the end of camp. Now, 30 games in, teams know what they have and what they need.

I guess the other option would have been for the Bruins to activate him and keep him on the NHL roster, but that would have meant waiting to get into games and then playing his way back into shape in the NHL. It also would have stopped them from banking any cap space which they've been trying to do all year. Sweeney probably felt nobody would claim him for those reasons.

I really hope that Sweeney can shake things up a bit and soon. Leaving this group as is - not good. The only untouchable is…

Never mind, there are no untouchables.
This is the team he constructed during the offseason. He's fired his third coach. In my opinion, I don't think he deserves to make any shakeup moves to this roster.
