I want them to swap out Geekie from the top line and put in Kopeke, who's faster, more physical, finishing better, and an actual left handed LW'er.
I want the GM to find a legit top 6 winger somehow.Watching DeBrusk makes me want to vomit 🤢

They could have fit DeBrusk, Zadorov, and Tyler Toffoli in, kept their two 60 point centers in place until another came to centerman came along. I know DeBrusk left on his own and it was time, but that does not mean you go out and sign a 30-year-old for 8mil and 7 years, and only had one solid year and one good year. Injury, sounding like an alibi to me.

I must say, you are persistent.

And what, someone is going to just give us that guy?

We have limited assets.

I think Poitras and Lysell could be packaged to get an available top 6 LW'er still in their prime. Whether or not the Bruins should do it or who that LW'er is are other questions.

Off topic but crazy how good Robertson is with how slow of a skater he is. Fast mind is better than fast skates sometimes.

Ron Francis was a slow skater.

Only 4 players in history had more points.

I think you're wrong.

He makes 7.75 not 8. Quit mis stating basic facts. I could say 7.501 and be closer to being accurate than you.
HAHA thank you for pointing that out, that tells me I am slowly winning this little discussion. To be honest you can say 7.5 mil because that does not change the the discussion, because he is not worth that either.

I like Granlund, he can play center and is an upgrade over Zacha. If they deal with San Jose I would inquire about Luke Kunin as well.

They have limited assets for many reasons good and bad but that still does not change fact they have a hole at wing in top 6.Get creative or give Lysell an extended look but do something.

This is pure team propaganda to try and distract from the gaping holes they have in the top 6. I mean shit, we're talking about a guy on pace for what, 31-32 points? This is pure spin. Lipstick on a pig. Whatever you want to call it. Koepke is literally the shinning example of what this front office has done that created this mess. They continually sign a glut of bottom of the roster types, and need them to overachieve. If they get lucky and do, the team suddenly thinks that one year anomaly is the new norm, and when that player falls back to earth the next season, because that's what inconsistent bottom of the roster type players do, they're stunned.

Rinse and repeat.

The rangers going to make a Panic trade? Maybe the bruins should get in on that.

I've been watching Kunin since his days at Wisconsin. To be honest, I just don't see how he makes this current Bruins team better. What am I missing?

Being a good skater and being a fast skater are not mutually inclusive, a slow skater can be a great NHL'er, a bad skater 100% cannot hack it in the league.

Yes please. He has a good skill set and when he is on his best game, he's a very good player. I don't know what's wrong with him this year. Is it the pressure? Last season he was a pleasant surprise and expectations were low. He bangs in 17 and looks like he is emerging as a top 6 talent, gets the role and shrinks.
He needs some puck luck. I like how he’s playing on first line.

Not a popular recommendation. But I’m all for it. 8 games in AHL no goals and 5? Helpers. Still very young but is concerning. BTW IMO everyone is tradeable other than Marchand.

Granlund would certainly help this team with scoring, and I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be excited to see him play with Pasta... but I worry about the price.

He's likely to be the premier rental on the market at the deadline and that usually means a 1st round pick. So are we really going to give up our 1st for a 33 year old UFA that we'll probably try to re-sign to justify the price we paid to get him? Next year we won't have a high-end young player to add to the prospect pool and we'll be wondering when the wheels are going to fall off another player in his mid-30's on the roster.

If I'm giving up our 1st I want it to be for a young player in need of a fresh start.

Lysell can't have much value, he can't even play for the Bruins...Other GM see Brazeau and Geekie in the top 6 and the red flags go off.

Yeah, limited assets, limited cap space and likely two forward spots to upgrade.

I would like to see them only add players under age 24.
Try to pluck guys like Luke Evangelista and Hendrix Lapierre if you can for veterans. Nashville sucks though, so they would need to go on a run although Trotz clearly hates the kids.
