No but it sure is f***ing dumb and slow to correct its mistakes…hell so far they aren’t even f***ing admitting that its making mistakes it needs to correctIs this franchise cursed?
And Olivier put up two, and Fabbro had a goal and an assist and lead the Jackets in TOI this evening. Big night for ex-Preds.Glass had one as well.
4 goals in fewer games with the Wild. (He has 0 with the Preds.)And how is Hinostroza doing?
Hmm…. Idk it really feels like there might be a coaching issue.4 goals in fewer games with the Wild. (He has 0 with the Preds.)
Could be, could be...Hmm…. Idk it really feels like there might be a coaching issue.
At least Poile freely admitted he made a mistake after Tolvanen was claimed.Tolvanen with his 20th goal last night.
Yep a perfectly adequate middle of the lineup player that can pitch in 20 or so goals a season. Would've been good on our 3rd line instead of much of the rotating cast like Jankowski.Tolvanen with his 20th goal last night.
And his blunder was thinking that Tolvanen would clear not that he didn't "like" Tolvanen and just wanted to give him away.Poile's last blunder there.
I think it's the Matt Duchene curse, personally. I didn't "love" nor "hate" him as a person but he was dialed into the Predator organization and loved the city. That was a really bad move.Is this franchise cursed?
Two options ... waive Tolvanen or put Boro on LTIR. For some reason Poile kept Boro on regular IR tried to sneak through the guy with prolonged struggles as a Pred. Based on who has scored 20+ since Tolvanen's waiver claim I have no belief he would have stepped up to that level of performance if still here. The move worked out for him.At least Poile freely admitted he made a mistake after Tolvanen was claimed.
True. We gave up on him in more than one way. He just was never going to be cemented into the lineup and see consistent ice time with a consistent set of linemates here. The Preds just can't help themselves from bouncing younger players up and down and in and out of the lineup. It's self sabotage. Two options ... waive Tolvanen or put Boro on LTIR. He sucked in his last 98 games as a Pred. The reality is he was a streaky player and Preds fans use his short hot streak as a basis while it skews things. He never had a 20 goal in 60-80 game span as a Pred. Keeping him required Boro to LTIR .. and with that he wasn't on a glidepath to a 20+ goal scorer. His departure opened the spot for Novak who did well in his first year and a half of full time play.True. We gave up on him in more than one way. He's having a high shooting % season again. Would have been a nice player to still have, I don't think it was some grave loss though. All teams will usually find players like this and many will also have ones they let go and do better elsewhere. He sucked in his last 98 games as a Pred. I mean it's not that any one of these guys alone were a "grave loss" but each one of the moves that are regularly brought up made the team inarguably older and, probably, incrementally worse. That stuff adds up.He's having a high shooting % season again. Would have been a nice player to still have, I don't think it was some grave loss though.
