24/25 English Cup thread

Nkunku is so good at winning headers and so bad at hitting them

Brutal luck for Morecambe, conceding off a pretty shitty deflection from a pretty shitty shot from a pretty shitty centre back

Tosin been Chelsea main scoring threat today.

On the positive side, it should settle some nerves for Chelsea going into half-time with a lead and no need to force things in the 2nd half. Reece James has been rather quiet today, Guiu hasn't been involved that much either.

Chiesa is rusty but you can see he's got quality
I thought he was good. I thought Danns was good. I thought Ngumoha was good. I thought Darwin was bad again. It’s only Accrington Stanley though, but good that these guys are getting some game time.

The Pilgrims knock out Brentford at the GTech

(muslic doesn’t actually start until tomorrow but I am giving him credit anyway)

Plymouth's first away win since April 2024 comes at probably the hardest PL stadium to visit.

Good debut for the lad but I don’t see how it was necessary. Not the biggest deal but he came to England 5 days ago, starts the match and tomorrow leaves back to Argentina to prepare for the u20s
