DeAngelo sitting is an absolute joke.
Best player on the ice against the isles and a post away from saving the game for us yesterday. He’s our best dman. I don’t get it. It feels just personal really does
The rotation that doesn't include Pionk or Staal. But yeah, he had a bad game last night, so did everyone else but I guess you can't scratch everyoneI couldn't get to watch last game. Did ADA have a bad game? Or just part of the rotation to get all the D some games? I hope Staal sits soon. He's probably the player on that D which would benefit the most from taking some games off.
I fail to see how ADA doesn't have the coaches trust? Have you missed like...this whole season? I would say that Quinn trusts ADA.It feels like coaches don't trust young players with good offensive instincts. It's absolute bull**** that our best defenseman is sitting. It's like every damn coach comes from the same hockey factory where "young+offense=bad".

“We didn’t have a lot of fire or energy”
Marc Staal
Seriously? He actually said that? Sit him, trade him, I don’t care. A guy that says that and collects his paycheque needs a reality check. I’ll be watching him closely today and he better show something
There are plenty of other reasons. ADA had a pretty terrible game yesterday. No, but why would he sit him then?
Claesson had a very tough game. Why is he playing over DeAngelo? He’s been here what 10 mins? Why does it feel like DeAngelo isn’t considered part of this young core?
Is he truly disliked that much personally in that room? It can’t be based on play. Because he’s been our best dman since camp. He’s much better than Pionk who gets every benefit of the doubt.
I think it also still has to do with having to play some of these guys to build any trade value. I don't agree with ADA sitting but if it gets Smith enough value for a 6th rd pick or something... I'll take the hit now.Just doing a little devils advocate here. Maybe Quinn feels like Smith is better defensively than ADA against OV and the Caps. I know we're not used to a coach who gameplans but he may just want a guy doesn't rover or jump into the offense as much against them.
I would rather ADA in as well, just trying to get into Quinn's head a bit.

Probably rotation IMO. You could lasso the moon with Staal’s leash, I wouldn’t expect him to be scratched anytime soon, short of shooting the puck into his own net and telling Quinn to go f*** himself.I couldn't get to watch last game. I’m singling him out for what he said. No one else said they had no energy. His poor choice of words is what pisses me offOr what? lol. He said "We", not "I", so why are you singling him out? The entire team was bad outside of Hank.
DeAngelo sitting is ridiculous. He’s been very good lately. However he did have a rough game yesterday so maybe it’s that.DeAngelo sitting is an absolute joke.

Claesson has been worse than ADA the last few games, so has Shattenkirk. I get why ADA is sitting, but by that same token Quinn should be scratching those 2 if they play badly tonight.Probably rotation IMO. You could lasso the moon with Staal’s leash, I wouldn’t expect him to be scratched anytime soon, short of shooting the puck into his own net and telling Quinn to go **** himself.
I can deal with ADA sitting a game for the sake of keeping Claesson in.
