This team looks unbelievably slow tonight. I don't think they got enough in them to pull this one out. unless Halak performs out of his mind tomorrow I think there is no way we don't lose that one as well.

If Johnson can string a few good games together, the hate would/should decrease. Right now, his play warrants the criticism he's getting.
It's not the same as the Bailey hater crowd. I'm not a Bailey fan, but his play this season doesn't warrant me ******** on him. He's been fine

Watch Hamonic....whats with the constant rush?....he's been caught 4 times..he is not a rushing d-man:shakehead

Truth be told I skipped a few minutes here and there catching up. I spent the afternoon with junior having fun. I am not surprised to hear Travis is being sprung again.

I'd put goal tending at the top of the "Who is the weakest link this game" poll though.

Don't have their legs tonight. Can't get their forecheck going.

Eh, this is more like Islanders-of-old. What I have seen so far is big team beating smaller team. The guys who played bigger than themselves last time out are playing more their Mary size today. Not the 4th of course.

Barry Trotz is squishing someone's head.

I like Barry as a coach. I wish he was behind our bench.

Why worry about tomorrow night now? The Devils play Red wings tonight. This one isn't over yet.

I play goalie and I would be pissed if I let that in. He needs to come out and cut an angle down. He's a bigger Nabby is what he is.

I agree with you man. As a fellow goalie, I would be mad at myself for letting a righty shot beat me far side off the right boards. If OV was shooting on his off wing then he has a better look. If you're looking at it from a shooters perspective, that goal was a snipe. From a goalie perspective, it was poorly played as Johnson wasn't even near the top of the crease as he should have been. There's no reason to retreat into your net like that when facing a shot from that far out

This is our 5th game in 8 nights, if we can get through this weekend with 2-3 points I will be more then happy.

Why is ocho stinko playing tonight? Halak should be playing in his old building. Save Chad for the trap tomorrow, less work.

4th line is being eliminated by the Clutterbutt....shoots from his knees..shoots laying down...shoot shoot shoot..all hard rimes leaving the zone with his mates coming hard...he is the Capitols best breakout artist:laugh:

And yes size will rear its head...MANY TIMES AS THE SEASON GOES ON

Maybe this is why his head is huge!
He absorbs the other person's power, much like the Highlander.

Didn't know the Devs play too I retract.
Still don't think they pull this one out though.

Probably lose tonight. We will lose sometimes and with #37 and Johnson
the odds are against us. Still, a different attitude exists so we still have a fighting chance to pull it out with an overwhelming 3rd period.

 Preaching to the choir Camper. There are a few in here who see the issue too.

 He absorbed all of Cap's pudding instead. Maybe that's why he lost weight? Lost Weight? Cappy wishes he could lose Weight. :sarcasm:

would be thrilled with a point. this is not our game. maybe johnson getting some regular play down in BPT while we re-evaluate poulin would do him some good. i don't wanna throw him under the bus just yet.
