4. Colorado’s search for a centre may take them through Arizona. They know Alex Kerfoot, and could also consider Nick Bjugstad. Another Coyote name to watch is Michael Carcone, who was red-hot earlier in the season. He’s got 15 goals.

😂😂😂

There's no way. This is some other team interested in Kerfoot (Edmonton maybe) but Arizona isnt getting its ask so they name drop Colorado.

Someone hurry up and fire CMac before he does something that’s gonna send all of us here to therapy:laugh:

Best outcome would be CMac's deadline sending HFAvs to therapy, and then having to hire a new therapist to deal with everyone's reality being destroyed, when they win the Cup again.

I like the way you think

Would be moronic to play Colton at 2C in the playoffs. Good way to get eliminated early.

Yeah, I thought before the season they may try Colton at 2C NEXT year when they'll be in a real cap crunch, but despite liking the way he's played this year, I think he's shown that he's not quite at 2C level. He's a great 3C though.

He's also an emotional guy that seems prone to the occasional brain fart. Which was his MO in Tampa. Have to make sure to manage a guy like that's minutes, and get him the right matchups. Easier to do at 3C, hard to do at 2C.

If only we had such a forward thinking GM. We had 12+ million in LTIR last season and we did dickall
More like an owner who’s willing to absorb all those extra costs, not to mention buyouts in the offseason. They’re definitely Philly West, except their knee-jerk impetuousness paid off.

Here’s the thing—I definitely don’t love a lot of things about the way the Avs do business but I also don’t think I’d want them to be like Vegas either.

I wouldn't want them to be horrible to players like Vegas is, but I do like that Vegas doesn't play games when there is a hole on their roster

Literally every game I watch Dumba, he tries some fancy plays in the first period like he's Bobby Orr, puffs his chest up in scrums and acts like a boss, then gets over emotional and takes a dumb penalty, or makes one or more really stupid plays later in the game to cost his team.

Literally every game his entire career.

Including the Arizona game where him and Mikko had a battle all night, and even challenged the Avs bench to fight saying they had nothing for him according to Ryker. Then in the 3rd, he gets fixated on going after Mikko again, not realizing he's double screening his own goalie on the GWG. Vejmelka just shook his head at him afterwards, which you never see from a goalie.

"He knows the system and the coach! He was instrumental in Toronto's playoff success"
Is that what Friedman said? Instrumental in Toronto playoff success which lasted one round and Kerfoot had a whopping 2 points in 11 games:laugh:
