We're really talking ourselves into accepting acquiring the invisible man.

f*** me.

6 goals in 48 career playoff games, completely disappears when games get tough, a total passenger.

I'm done.
I really can’t watch Kerfoot frustrate the shit out of me again. Go listen to Kyper and Bourne how they were always frustrated with Kerfoot when he was on the Leafs. Just please no… don’t f***in get this guy or I will hate CMac forever

If the Avs trade for Kerfoot I think I'll be done with this season.

Guy f***ing sucks and is a complete 0 in the playoffs.

If that's the best CMac can come up with then he needs to be gone tomorrow.

Not sure why this needs to be said, but no more C rate former players.

The only former player that I'd welcome back is Kadri and that isn't going to happen.

So for the Ava cap situation, can they only take on a full year AAV of $2.29 million on deadline day or is it the sum of all the remaining cap hits for whatever player they acquire?

Does anybody have a link to Friedman linking the Avs to Kerfoot? The only thing I remember about this is him saying that he COULD see the Avs being interested in a guy like Kerfoot. Big difference with Avs are looking at Kerfoot.

If they trade for Kerfoot I'll make a point to not watch anymore games for the year for myself.

Won't make a difference but I'll feel a hell of a lot better versus watching the team fail miserably with that little shit yet again.
“Little shit” is about the best description I’ve heard about the prospect of reacquiring him. As I said, you people already justifying bringing him back need therapy for masochism and Stockholm Syndrome. What the f***.

It feels like their goal is to make Kuznetsov so miserable riding the AHL bus that he eventually refuses to report and they can terminate his contract. Sort of a race between how desperately Kuznetsov wants his guaranteed 7.8 million next year vs. how much he hates the humiliation of it all.

Can we try this with Johansen?
He'll do what Wayne Redden did and play in the AHL for his big paycheck.

In the summer? Sure.

Now? Why would Fatty's agent agree to that before going on a playoff run?
Secure a huge contract w/o the risk of a career altering injury.

It's pretty hilarious when our rival fans are saying we just need few pieces to be a top contender, yet nobody believes we will do the necessary moves. It's mind-blowing.

Saw at least Canucks and Blues fan mention this.

We are blowing this opportunity
That’s because MacKinnon, Rantanen and Makar strike the fear of god into opponents. Imagine having to defend them and then having Nuke, Kadri, Landeskog, and Lehky forecheck you to death. I miss our 2022 cup team.

CNap, I am begging you, do not throw another year of this core’s prime away.

I’m still somewhat optimistic that CMac will actually make the right moves, but every time I read this rumors like bringing back Kerfoot, a doubt creeps in. Maybe I should just stay away from social media until the deadline is over
