Good call, but with Strome taking the important faceoffs.

Still wishing Kakko got a look with more offensive skilled linemates but one thing at a time I suppose.

Quinn didn’t sleep last night thinking about having to put Howden at 4C. Couldn’t do it

I’d have liked to see Kakko play with a good center for a change but this is Ok I guess.

I don’t see why you wouldn’t just go Panarin Mika Strome if anything. And leave the Chytil line alone. Especially after he said he likes having a right hand center getting the puck to Panarin

Kreider - Chytil - Buchnevich line was already broken up prior to Zibanejad returning.

Anyone wanna know why I am happy today? Anybody catch the Habs drubbing last night at the hands of equally hated Bruins? Habs had a horrific loss vs your favorite team then followed it up with a statistically even worse loss. Apparently still hurting of snatching a loss from the jaws of a victory. Boo hoo, boo hoo.

My point is coming.
"Excluding those early season 5 consec. losses"

1. Following horrific Boston rout, came back to destroy Tampa.
2. Trounced by Ottawa, in turn trounced Detroit.
3. Deflating home loss to Florida, then beat Pittsburgh.
4. 2 Sunshine State losses, then a solid win vs the Caps.
5. Yet another loss to Ottawa, followed up with miraculous comeback for the ages.
Yes, 5 of their last 6 losses have been followed up with wins. That's a good sign, in my book.
Bad games happen, minimize losing streaks......=learning how to become a winning team.
Okay, now my point......Montreal is clueless and we are well on our way. Slowly but surely.
We have beaten really good teams, and apparenty have lost to some really bad teams or maybe even equally as bad.
Getting up vs good teams is easy, doing the same against a team you are "supposed to beat" is another. A learning process, I suppose. Thats the next lesson to be learned, and yes Montreal sucking wind, indeed makes me happy.

We got Boston on friday so dont get too happy, likely a serving of the same thing.

Zib is confirmed back from injury and it will be exciting to see how the whole team respond. Although Canes this year is really strong so it will be a difficult game even with Zib 100% healthy based on overall current team strength.

Lol. Yeah, expect the worst and hope for the best. Or, is it hope for the best and expect the worst? Whichever.
A win with Hank doing his thing vs Carolina and even if we lose to Boston......at that point, nothing to lose.
I said before, I think Mika has a game tonight, (adrenaline and excitement) then back to the reality of missing too much time.
Coincides with winning tonight and losing to Boston.

There's no reason they'd put the C on Zibanejad now if they weren't gonna do it at the beginning of the season.

We were outshot 50-12 last time and they are angrier than they were last time. HONK needs to have a .966 night or we're toast.

I feel pretty confident that before this game is over Strome will go back to center and Chytil will end up on the wing on that line

Quinn just can’t quit Strome

Sounds like from what Quinn said during the presser it was this or running 93 16 72 21 in that order down the middle. So I’m happy to hear neither option was Chytil to wing or the 4th line behind Howden
