If we win tonight I promise that I will NOT angrily protest the poor quality of my grandma's sweet potato casserole that caused an awkward rift at dinner leading to silence broken up by periods of intense hostility where I'll have a quiet car ride giving my wife's boyfriend a lift to the airport after last Thanksgiving that I'm definitely over by now.

Omg I’m sorry.

I thought he struggled a little in his last game, but Smith had 2 points and thought he had energy in his last 2 games so personally I would not sit him.

What? ADA was by far the Rangers best D-Man and one of the best players on the ice against Dallas....

No, he struggled at times defensive in that Dallas game, but he is an offensive D player and need to be productive.

ADA is an offensive defender with a very good first outlet pass, and his main strength is not to defend and I thought he struggled last game at times, besides he had 0 pts. in that Dallas game. I just don`t understand why to sit a 2 pts. player in Smith in his last 2 games and he had good energy and jump in his play.

Marc Staal shall lead the Rangers into that glorious victory as he stops Barzal and Lee in their tracks. He shall take his all mighty hockey stick, slam it to the ice and thy ice shall crack beneath the Islanders and they shall fall into the deep abyss below the broken ice.

Or

Marc Staal will fall on his ass as Barzal skates around him leaving nothing but a vapor trail around him.

Last think ADA’s confidence needs is to sit when he’s playing well.

The pairings get messed up too if you sit him for Smith.

No it`s not watch him this night against the islanders - his main strength is certainly not based on defensive efforts.
Nobody is suggesting that ADA’s main strength is his defensive play. What people are saying is his defense is underrated because he’s a OFD.

Bottom line, ADA’s played too well to scratch.

I mean, almost every player last game struggled at times, specifically in the first period. Yet, ADA was consistently pushing the puck up ice, making fantastic outlet passes, etc. He was really, really good last game. I don't even see how that can be debated.
