You know guys I got to be honest, three years ago I would be so excited about this recent run in which it appears to be a 9- 1-1 in their last 11. I'm really liking this, but I just cannot wrap my arms around being excited, I simply can't.

I feel that way, but probably for different reasons.

I love seeing the kids do well, and for as much as I want a nice, high draft pick, the success of the kids is pepbably more important to me.

But there is this lingering feeling that a tougher schedule, some different bounces, and the tools of hockey in December and January are going to be...rough.

I could be wrong, but there’s that sinking feeling in my stomach that usually isn’t.

Our end result goal should not be becoming a bubble team and attempting to make the playoffs we simply cannot be doing that. I'm sure as the year goes by, and the games get more difficult we will lose our share.....just really starting to worry.

Dont get focused on one thing, what's going on here now is wonderful development for this group of kids. We will get some picks at the deadline and add to it and possibly go after panarin. I trust Gorton with this team, we are heading in the right direction. I'd rather they learn to win than to give up.

Allaire has input, but he’s not watching goalies in Finland or Alabama on a regular basis.

This scouting department doesn’t get nearly enough credit for what it’s done the past 14 years or so.
