Damn, Pionk’s had like 5 good defensive plays in the past 5-10 minutes or so.

Believe it or not, his corsi is halfway decent today.

I think he's a little snakebit. He started off well with 4 points in his first 4 games. He's getting chances, good on the forecheck, and good defensively, as always. He'll turn it around offensively at some point.

These things normalize in a year. He was this for a lot of last year until Kreider and Zbad and bunch of good variance made him a top 6 forward for like 9 games, and everyone decided those 9 games mattered more than the other 70, or previous years.
