I think he's done a great job being asked to be, and when he's getting fed those minutes, his counting stats grade out as a low-end 1C. His per-minute metrics paint him as a 2C.

Since you like moving the goalposts over to contacts, let's mention that 5.5/yr is a f***ing steal for an excellent 2C.

I just don’t see how he has disappointed. Our performance, good or bad, isn’t entirely attributable to the coach. But he knows how to respond to player performances and how to address the media. What else can you ask for?
