Okay, 35+ point pace in his last 100 game sample size. He's always had some skills as he's shown in every playoffs. The idea was that he'd take the next step with more offensive zone ice time and less of a role as a defensive specialist.

It really is gonna come down to seeing these kids develop as well as they have vs them not and getting a 8-10 percent chance at Hughes. Maybe I'm being too shortsighted and guilty of instant gratification but the former seems like the better option. If guys like Chytil, Howden, ADA and Pionk play like this I can't see this team being close to a bottom 3/4 team
