Despite how often the Don godfather books 70 points for him this season, Sweeney just pulled the pin on that grenade. Minimize the damage. Keep your core, build your youth, use your assets to add players at the age that fits this team. Zacha age 29 - 37 isn’t a wise move imo. Again, I like the player. A 4 year deal at 6.5m per is palpable imo. Anything more I’m looking to package him into a deal for Werenski Marchenko etc etc

I'm fine if they want to extend Zacha 4-5 years. Now his contract lines up with the rest of the group signed until 2030/31/32. (McAvoy/Hampus/Zadorov/Jeannot/Swayman/Pasta/Elias/Geekie).

It's where people suggest 8 years for him that I can't get behind. 9 more years of Pavel Zacha starting this fall? Another decade of freakin' Pavel Zacha?
