That is a bold assessment, crappy D and bad goaltendingThey’ll finish ahead of the Bruins. Matthews & Nylander will pop 100 points each. Raddysh 70 points. McKenna will pop 70. Leafs finish 2nd in Atlantic behind Florida. Snap crackle pop

Good thing for us as we have one of the big three in Sweeney, the Great White Shark himself!I think he means Sweeney is "swimming with sharks," meaning in a damgerous/expensive situation.
That’s where my mind went too… but if he is referring to a trade with a team with this tweet, I’d rather he swim with the sharks than swim with the rangers or Canucks. Trochek or EP would sink us all.I think he means Sweeney is "swimming with sharks," meaning in a damgerous/expensive situation.
They didn't come when they were there.I must say it.... Boston is becoming less of a destination for Free Agents than when we had guys like Bergy and Z wearing the "C". Just a vibe I'm getting.
Cam and Don may be trying but the carrot they might be dangling may not be what guys are exactly wanting.
You are 100% correct, summer posters get very negative if an opponent signs a playerHah those vibes are delusions! Boston remains a preferred destination, albeit not in the highest tier. We just inked two of the biggest UFAs of a class recently in Zadorov and Lindholm...
Same crap D & bad goaltending they had in 2024-25 season and finished ahead of Boston. That’s my pointThat is a bold assessment, crappy D and bad goaltending
Matthews
Nylander
Knies
Tavares/McKenna
Raddysh

This power play pretty much matches Tampa's, Kucherov included. They will score a lot of goals. I'm pretty high on Hildeby as a serviceable goalie and if Stolarz stays healthy the goaltending will be fine.
Say what you will about Brandon Carlo, but one of the reasons the Bruins need help on D is because they never replaced him. With Raddysh and Andrae they have improved a lot on D, if Tanev can come back and if McCabe and Ekman Larsson can duplicate their play from last year they have improved a lot back there.
Add an improving young Cowan, and the possibilities of signing McMann back (rumoured), I see the Leafs having a better year than the Bruins unless Sweeney can pull a rabbit out of his hat.
Let me guess - you’re not impressed with those sharks. Slow and don’t have the fire in their belly.I think he means Sweeney is "swimming with sharks," meaning in a damgerous/expensive situation.
sounds like a stanley cup is headed toronto's way. sweetMatthews

We are far off from the Chiarelli days of getting Chara and Savard in one offseason
Why do you not want to sign him, I am not saying you should or not, but I would thread carefullyI’m not opposed to keeping Zacha for a few months, but I don’t want to resign him, and absolutely do not want to let him walk. Having another prospect on the cusp of going pro and a higher pick like that would be amazing. If you had 11OA, it might be realistically possible to move up a spot or two and secure Rudolph if you’re worried he’d get picked by then.
He and Celebrini are attached at the hip, Smith is going nowhereSend us the Lexington kid, Will Smith!
In fairness, those type of free agents are no longer available on July 1st.We are far off from the Chiarelli days of getting Chara and Savard in one offseason
I know. Let a girl dream! LolHe and Celebrini are attached at the hip, Smith is going nowhere
Tread carefully? I mean it goes without saying. Why do you not want to sign him, I am not saying you should or not, but I would thread carefully
Yeah, he is a very nice guy and smart too. Each day on the set, he would approach a group of us on the set, he would get our names, then later try to remember them. That is definitely where Goldblum made his mark.Be no Law & Order for him , without The![]()
umm...what? Bruins are a far more attractive team for free agents than those days. Bruins had just traded their #1 overall and captain in a publicly lambasted trade, the " Jacobs is cheap " stench was still heavy in the air after being the champion of bringing the salary cap to the NHL, and the team had seen the 2nd round once in like 15 seasons.
