Boston Bruins 2026 NHL Draft Part 2

Lagerberg-Hoen jumps off the page to me. He'd seem like a very interesting option in the second. Sounds like the type who would have no chance of being there if it were not for injury
His eyebrow game is second to none. You can just feel their disapproval.

23. Boston Bruins :

Mathis Preston

Preston’s strong showing at the U-18s helped boost his stock in a big way. He finished with six points in five games while being one of the team’s top all-around offensive threats. He was a puck-possession machine, and he consistently got the puck into high-danger areas. Preston is an undeniably talented player who could become a top-six threat down the line. Preston has a remarkable shot and often wastes no time firing in the back of the net from the slot. His shot looks NHL-ready right now.

They think a 160 lb. defenseman is going in the top 20? Might've been written before the combine, I guess.

Ten scouts from ten different organizations submitted the top 32 players from their lists. From those ten lists, 57 players were named.

The message from teams is fairly consistent: there's a good level of certainty at the very top. Through the middle, there's real disagreement. And by the back half of the round, boards open up entirely.

I would be fine if this player is our pick at 23.

A bit concerning when half of Cam bro's list wasn't ranked last time around.

LOOK. AT. THIS. SHIT!

Look!

That's one big bastard, right there.

See him dominate those children?

You want big, huge, bighuge defensemen? Look no effing further.

LOOK!

You're not even looking.

I won’t watch - I’m sure Don Cherry said something 59 years ago about Moldovans so I’m not interested.

You xenophobic bastard, you.

I hope the Moldovan Menace leg drops Grapes into the afterlife.
An evil genie captured a Moldovan and two of his friends, banishing them to the desert for a week. The genie allowed each person to bring just one thing.
The first friend brought a canteen, the second an umbrella, but the Moldovan brought a car door to "roll down the window" if it got too hot.

To be clear, I searched for “best joke about Moldovans” and apparently that’s a pretty famous one. I didn’t just have one handy. They go at it with Romanians pretty fiercely apparently.

Wheeler's top 100 is out.

2026 NHL Draft ranking: Gavin McKenna leads Scott Wheeler’s final top 100 list

Second list that has the 160 lb. Villeneuve going in the first round.

The highlight for me is how he kinda, sorta, totally called Chase Harrington a fat bastard.

Harrington is a thick, heavyset, wide-based October '07 who has played three full seasons in the WHL.

the video of him last year was incredible against those tiny kids. his stick is everywhere.
i think someone will probably pick him in the 7th round and see what happens in 5 years.

Didn't know Swedes were a race.
Not racist but definitely xenophobic.

I will always love Don Cherry. Forever. I learned more about the sport and found my true love of it in no small part due to him. Like Roger Ebert and film for me.

The guy is a xenophobe true blue. Which is an aspect of him that I will never either refute or respect.
