Well the general consensus is Reid is the best out of all the dmen. 6'2" almost 200 lbs, skates well, drives plays, does a bit of everything really well. For me I would take Reid over Smits, but there's nothing wrong with having Smits 1st. I think out of all the top Dmen a few will go on to be great players in the NHL.
yeah that's conventional wisdom but forget if it was Reid or Carels is particularly like Fox and upon closer examination some of his skating mechanics could be better

I fully admit that I’m not up to date as I used to be diving into these prospects.

But I’ve been reading profiles on some of the top end players, can someone explain to me why people are clamoring for Malhotra?

I’ve read a few profiles of his now and my immediate reaction after reading was “so a taller Lias Andersson”

which is cool if he hits, I guess. But not what I’d want with my top 5 pick lol

I think your immediate reaction is incorrect.

Hey you Iive on one of Jupiter's moons too!?!?! I'm on Ganymede, you?

@Machinehead it makes perfect sense. I personally use the logical method of age determination for myself:

-I've been on earth for 45 years (90s best decade of music, fight me)
-I physically feel like I'm 35 years old (hmm, why am I walking weird straight outta bed!?!?)
-I've been told I still look like I'm 30 years old (thanks mom/dad)
-I mentally feel like I'm 25 years old (what close down this bar with you youngins? Next round on me...)
-My wife tells me I act like I'm 12 years old. (She lies, it's more like 8 years old but i digress)

45+35+30+25+12 = 137/5
Average age = 27 years old
