Well the general consensus is Reid is the best out of all the dmen. 6'2" almost 200 lbs, skates well, drives plays, does a bit of everything really well. For me I would take Reid over Smits, but there's nothing wrong with having Smits 1st. I think out of all the top Dmen a few will go on to be great players in the NHL.

I would. Long term, they have Celebrini, Smith, Misa, Graf and Cherny. That's more than enough fire power for long term. Adding Stenberg would be ridiculous future top6

I would take Reid and whoever is left at 9. Smits or Rudolph. For their current makeup, I'd 100% want Smits.

If they could land Reid and Smits that's a ridiculously stacked team. Depth and Goalie all that's left.

The salary cap is what will break them apart.

yeah vince just had an article saying the Rangers aren't looking to move him unless it's a blow you away deal and that they're trying to add scoring forwards not get rid of them

I really do believe he takes it to another level.

With saying that.. I see him peaking up until his contract expires. I would trade him 1-2 years before the new contract. I do not trust him unless he goes on a MacKinnon type of lifestyle change. He really is like Huberdeau. Let’s get our Matthew Tkachuk in 3-4 years.

I’ve read a few profiles of his now and my immediate reaction after reading was “so a taller Lias Andersson”
