  • Congrats to our latest Sportsbook winners - GOLD MEDAL kihei, SILVER MEDAL fish7 and BRONZE MEDAL Sammy Kat - new tournament begins today 6/15
Leo and cutter will be quick and fast like Lacombes was. Unless Leo and his agent want 13-14m per. Cutter seems more the type to take a team friendlier deal between the 2 though.

I don't care as long as he gets it done before training camp and beats the deadline to get them the 8th year in term (which I believe is before training camp anyway). Keep Leo around $12.5 and Cutter right on the verge of the $10M mark and I'll be happy.

This is crazy to me because I'm not even sure if Carlsson deserves the extra 25% over Gauthier that's being floated (12.5m vs 10m).
+1000 when it mattered most, both cutter and sennecke really came to play in the playoffs. Leo was a ghost v the vgk. He’s also the only one of the 3 who seems to be injury prone. Yes, he plays center, which is a position that demands more. But cutter also is much better at face offs than Leo too.

Leo is the better all around, two way player than Cutter. It's not just about scoring goals. Gotta be able to defend them off also.

Cutter played hard defense in the playoffs. He really elevated his play. I don’t see either cutter or sennecke being only offensive minded players anymore. I see all 3 being 2 way capable guys.

I do not know Leo and Cutter obviously and I do not know how they will behave but both showed so many great character aspects. Personally I am even more attracted how Cutter is. For me, if that is the real person, he would be a awesome captain. Leo is still a little bit more of the easy going for me, that takes summer easier.

Both should get 10m each and everyone is happy. When you get 80m deal which is most likely not the last one you may leave 15m on the table but those 4-5m per year combined will land you a very good player. A player that might make a huge difference in winning a championship. And 80m is still a lot of money.

Leo is an nba player energy who plays in the Nhl. Hopefully that changes overtime. +1000 on cutter

1 - Verbeek needs to get Carlsson and Gauthier handled before free agency or he’s going to potentially be in a similar situation as we were with Lindholm and Rakell and not sign much UFA to guard against offer sheets.

2 - people are forgetting that Carlsson is -2 weeks short of a full year younger than Gauthier. He’s not, nor should he be expected to, take the same money as Cutter. Cutter had 22G 44P in 82 GP at the same age where Carlsson just had 28/67 in 70GP.

Edit - math hard, 1 year
