FWIW Madden said in an interview that he was surprised teams were trading picks so willy-nilly because he thought the top 15 is quite good and the Blues have 11, 15 and 16.
Yeah I'll take all three, thanks.

Trocheck isn't part of the offer from New York.Trocheck is a good player
Trocheck will be 33 in a few weeks
We should not be trading a 23 year old for a 33 year old in a league dominated by under 30 talent
There would have to be more parts of a trade for me
Mctavish was on a good trajectory for 3 years we shouldn't completely disregard that after a bad seasonAnd Schneider fills a role. McT was totally useless for us in the playoffs and costs a helluva lot more.
Blues owe us for that terrible Dead (Doug) Weight for Andy McDonald trade in 2007-08 season.Yeah I'll take all three, thanks.
You guys are going to be kissing the beekers big fat Harry beanbag soon!
Mctavish played in 10 of 12 playoff gamesI feel like we are overvaluing McT based on draft position. We just benched him all post season (almost) and he proved he is way to slow, not physical enough and doesn’t read the game well enough to even make the 4th line. Teams trading for him watched those games too. The only hope with McT is he rebounds next year and somehow was thrown off all year because he didn’t start the season in shape for some reason. Feels like a stretch to me.
He has a good shot and can pick up some points if his linemates can carry him but he is pretty bad at everything else.
He also had 6 pts in those playoff games. So it’s not like he was some hindrance on the team that they should trade him for some scrapsMctavish played in 10 of 12 playoff games
Lacombes contract is one of the best value contractsIts crazy to me that Byram is getting paid more than LaCombe.
Byram is still cashing in on that drafted #4 in 2019 and passenger on Colorado's cup winning team.
He had a Cam Fowler-ish season in 2025-26 with 42 points and gets 10 mil.

Has that contract number been confirmed? Because I wonder how a guy named “Lucas” knows about it but no one else does. Its crazy to me that Byram is getting paid more than LaCombe.

Interesting way to think that.
I think Byram is a phenomenal talent.

Im okay with Chicago making that mistake.Well that’s a franchise killer if true.
Lmfao the ultimate insider chiming in.
Until they offer Bedard $18 million and Carlsson says “me too”. Then it’s our problem too.Im okay with Chicago making that mistake.
To be fair it’s everyone’s problem…. Your cup favorites for the next decade have smith and celebrini that will have to get paid 18 mil tooUntil they offer Bedard $18 million and Carlsson says “me too”. Then it’s our problem too.
Dodgers are off today. We might see an unprecedented two Ducks tweets in one night from StephensGive him a break the Dodgers are playing.
Celebrini is going to be the first $20 million player in a year.To be fair it’s everyone’s problem…. Your cup favorites for the next decade have smith and celebrini that will have to get paid 18 mil too
