Click bait seasonSo dumb to offer sheet ducks. We have more money to spend than almost every other team
Size is ok. He just is not tall. But size is more than just height.Yes, he is worth that contract. Because of his size, though, there has to be a specific role for him.
Didn't watch Spence in Ottawa but man oh man did he get pushed around and manhandled when he was in LA.Size is ok. He just is not tall. But size is more than just height.
Something (kinda)
Some time in between and I see so much of Brandon Montour in him. Even size is similar.Didn't watch Spence in Ottawa but man oh man did he get pushed around and manhandled when he was in LA.
Losing Johnston, Viel, Trouba and Gudas (when healthy) is 100% of anaheim toughness. Replacing them with? Small soft useless Spence?
The V in DVM actually stands for VerbeekHey, this was MY idea a couple weeks ago!
I like him a lot.If Vegas cannot afford 6'3 LD Jeremy Lauzon, then maybe the Ducks could be in on that. Lauzon ranks 10th overall in hits with 251 hits. Problem is... we have a lot of talented LD's vying for a spot on the Ducks' roster and we have Solberg developing in the AHL.
He'll never be the goal scoring threat that Montour was but on the plus side he seems to play a much more structured game than Montour did at 25.Some time in between and I see so much of Brandon Montour in him. Even size is similar.

It’s short for “Da Verbeekening Man”.The V in DVM actually stands for Verbeek
Lauzon is a poor mans Clayton Stoner. Yes he's extremely physical. That is basically his only redeeming quality. He's not a great PKer which actually is irrelevant because he lives in the box. He's not better than any of our 4 LD.
A poor man's Clayton Stoner? That guy isn't even an AHL player.
It's about of how he moves and shoots. He'll never be the goal scoring threat that Montour was but on the plus side he seems to play a much more structured game than Montour did at 25.
Not a whole lot, but again, he's a big risk.
Give us some names. There are legit nlh “insiders “ that follow that account.
Which is a decent bit given I hardly follow any nhl people. But they are some of the few I follow. Maybe not insiders, but people you can count on for a good story etcGive us some names.
Hide this post from Dirk. Extremely physical is all a guy needs.Lauzon is a poor mans Clayton Stoner. Yes he's extremely physical. That is basically his only redeeming quality. He's not a great PKer which actually is irrelevant because he lives in the box. He's not better than any of our 4 LD.
