I remember the Olympics vs Latvia. I think it was the 3rd period before we put that game away. Price had to bail the team out for us to eke out a 2-1 win. We outshot the crap out of them but could not score. It was midway through the 3rd before we managed to get our 2nd goal. Freaking Latvia.

Yeah, he's actually on their top pairing. He's with ASP.

Yeah, we drafted 2 Russians, who aren't eligible. Hage didn't even get a camp invite. We didn't have a 2nd round pick. Koivu our 3rd round pick has been out too long with injury/illness to make Team Finland.

Our 7th round pick made it for Sweden.

All of our 2023s have aged out, as most had fall birthdays.

That was frustrating as hell

I just remember thinking of how the Price haters would jump with joy if we’d lost that one.

For all the talk of how good that team was, it had a really hard time scoring for much of the tournament. Price had to hold the fort a fair bit before the team could score. I think his save percentage was like .960 or .970 in that tourney.
