Canada will have to come up with a better first wave on the PP if they hope to go far...
Like start the second wave.

How hard is it to make sure the first wave has two players who wear a cage at the back.
You can then probably go with the Ritchie line as a whole up front.

I'd even go with our energy line over some of those other jokers they couldn't be any worse.

Mike Johnson might get fired by TSN for critiquing Cowan there.

He'll have the last laugh when Cowan tries to walk the line against the US and gets burned.

Schaefer deserved that goal. Great game!

Interesting to see draft eligibles Schaefer and Martone both on the ice in the last minute protecting a lead.

Stripping the puck effortlessly beforehand is what I liked best great stick he was probably the best player on the ice.

Canada plays tomorrow night against Latvia then on the 29th against Germany. I expect them to destroy those 2 teams.

The winner of the division will be decided New Year's eve when they play US.

There's no real threat in the other division other than Sweden, so you only want 1st place so you don't meet them in semi-final.

Yeah they'll have to do it without me tomorrow I'll be watching Laval.

Canada should also find ways to win faceoffs in their own zone esp. during a PK.

They lost 2 consecutive faceoffs that I noticed when Finland was on their 6 on 4 PP.

Probabilities for Hagens are going up as Schaefer out class everyone for 1st overall.

I think the 2nd unit is the 1st unit period. Not a player better on the 1st unit vs. 2nd unit.

I would just replace Bonk with Molendyk and see what he can do with Cowan.

Hagens would be a perfect 1b center for us.

No matter if you have a NEED at forward, if you have a chance to draft Schaefer and you don't, you deserve to be fired.

At this point both Hagens and Misa are getting underrated. Seeing how well Cooley is doing this season, would love to draft a potentially better version of him in Hagens.
