Kinda love Hockey Canada’s stupid-ass roster decisions coming back to bite them.

Yeah, I'm really struggling to see what this teams identity is. They seem like a below average skating team with middling skill.
Speed kills in today's game and we lwft a lot of speed and skill home.

What is worse than embarrassing, Canada’s national sport team of entitled rich kids losing to a team with a country of less than 2 million people!
I have to say though, I'm so happy for the Latvian team and fans of Latvia. Just a great, passionate fanbase and hard working team. Kudos to them!
For us, I guess we can hope it's a wake up call, but I'm not seeing it with this group.

He gets so much hype again by the Toronto Sports Network cause he is a Leafs prospect, but against the best that junior hockey has he has looked average so far. With so much slurping you would think he would dominate.
Yaeger hasn't looked great so far. Definitely downgrading expectations for him

That Latvia goalie played really well, Canada absolutely shouldn't lose to them but hats off to their goalie.And ya we took way too many penalties , could have gotten a couple more interference penalties that we got away with.
Thought he was excellent in the second but had a poor end to the game and in OT.
Not really going read too much into a short tournament especially when the team as a whole doesn't look great.
They tried (again) to build a team that would go far in the playoffs and win a seven-game series, instead of realizing this is juniors, it’s high-scoring, and as a two-week tournament it’s a sprint and not a marathon. Canada has enough depth to just outgun everyone, don’t have to get fancy and take a .6 PPG in junior winger because he can PK, or whatever.
Yup, look at all those successesful Olympic teams. They just stacked them.
