WJC: 2025 WJC U20 Division I Group A

I thought the possession wasn't that lopsided maybe 55-45 but then looked at the stats and SOG was 34-17, wow. I didn't have that great a read on the game.

Slovenia are the only team to rotate goalkeepers within the first two games. Dukaric in for Glavic.

no score in the second frame.

Another set faceoff play. Goalie may have been screened but really, should have that. 1-0 Danes.

1-1 and this tournament really is wide open now. Could be a surprise winner with how things are going.

I think we can collectively agree Denmark is not looking great, Austrians are really in the driver's seat now.

2nd period did seem to be all Norway. But it's bend not break kind of thing and while shot clock is lopsided, Austria probably had more dangerous chances in the 3rd.

Don't say this. You know that the moment you say this we will start to drop games like flies.
Good thing for Norway that Denmark won today. With the loss against Austria, Norway's hope is that Denmark beats Austria in the last game and we could have three teams on 12 points.

Austria are clear favorites now, if they win 2 out of the 3 remaining they'll very likely get promoted.

I’m a U20 ref and I’m easily confused. I’m scared of my confusion, I think I will call a penalty on someone.

The question probably was already asked a couple times, but I haven't read all the threads. Do some of you know where can we watch the world juniors if we don'T have cable? Is there a way to watch the games online (I'm ok with paying for a streaming service to watch the games)?

This is the weakest group of forwards other than last year since the like...arguably 10 years. It's this year, last year, and 2018-19. So scoring is always unpredictable. But it's a good defenseman crop and "they have a goalie" so they can sort of hang around in games.

Well, they are back into it... after all, a win would already secure them their spot in the division.

France did a 180 and ended up being very helpful.

Tomorrow we are all Norwegian. And then take care of business vs Hungary, which can be shockingly difficult to do.

Well, 5-4 France in OT against Denmark

Then the road is open for Austria to secure promotion tomorrow.
A win in regulation for Austria against neighbour Hungary which is very likely.
And the other neighbour clash Norway-Denmark, a Norway win their will seal it for Austria.

Norway have gotten more rest than Denmark also, and had a pretty easy game against Hungary that they decided after 1.period. Denmark had a hard fought game against France. So Norway should have more energy.

The Danes were due to lose points. It's ironic that it happened in probably the best game they played but, had to happen at some point.

Team Austria playing against a last placed team to secure promotion?

What could go wrong? When did it ever go wrong??:laugh:

Feels like another Hungarian game. They are really trying hard but no way they have the quality to achieve anything substantial. Austria will crank up the pressure eventually and that will be it.
