The bottom half, meanwhile, shook out exactly how I would have thought it would. Slovenia with a really nice group of quality prospects for their level. With the absolute best team (Podrekar, Kopac) and better goaltending (which they do not have), they could have challenged for the medal pretty seriously.

Norway vs France today (4-1), didn't mean anything but the game became a very entertaining battle with a ton of penalties, scrums and ejected player. MBN finally scored and had 10 shots on goal. Game is available on IIHF.
