The books have Canada and USA basically even as co-favorites.Figured Spellacy was a longshot. Although this team is pretty ass.
Yeah cause Canada took some weird picks. And not like the books have ever been that sharp on weird hockey stuff. I took them to the cleaners for months on NCAA hockey. The books have Canada and USA basically even as co-favorites.
Yeah Canada still has much more talent than the US does. If I had to guess, they smoke everyone this tournament.Yeah cause Canada took some weird picks. And not like the books have ever been that sharp on weird hockey stuff. I took them to the cleaners for months on NCAA hockey.

Could be useful next to Bedard, or maybe carrying the second line behind Bedard. It just feels like this kid is going to be on the board when the Hawks pick one way or another, and I hope the dumb size argument doesn’t lead to the Hawks passing.Hagens has absolutely sick hands.
I agree. Although with Nazar, Bedard, Kantserov trending as our best forward prospects it’s kind of a hard pill to swallow drafting another small forward but Hagens seems like a sure fire top line C one dayCould be useful next to Bedard, or maybe carrying the second line behind Bedard. Trade Nazar and/or Kantserov for players with size, if needed. Hagens is more skilled than them. There’s no reason for Davidson to draft a lesser skilled player at the top of the draft just because he’s bigger right now.I agree. Yeap yeap yeap....get as many of the bestest players and once hopefully 2 or even better 3 become elite level star type players, you can sort through what you need to complement them through trade and free agency if you don't have the pieces coming from the prospect pool. If as an example Haegens hits his projections and is a 1st line type player and you take the "bigger" Misa or Martone that only top out as middle 6 type players, that would be a big misstep. I think at this point it is hard to differentiate between any of Hagens, Misa, Martone, or Schaefer and we'll see how the rest of this season plays out. My hope is that the Hawks end up with one of the 4 and if they had the chance to pick any that they end up with the best guy which we won't really know for 2 or 3 seasons.Trade Nazar and/or Kantserov for players with size, if needed. Look no further than the Lightning to see an example of two “small” players being able to lead a forward group.
Or just keep the smaller players because they’re all more talented than any big plugs you’ll trade them for.Trade Nazar and/or Kantserov for players with size, if needed. He’s in another stratosphere as a prospect compared to RNH. That’s was a pretty weak 1OAThe real question with Hagens is does Hawks scouting think he’s a Jack Hughes or a Ryan Nugent Hopkins
Both Moore & Rinzel need to go back for another year of College . Moore to grow his offence and Rinzel is still way too thin for his height and needs to manage the puck better in his own end of the ice . Nazar is showing he isn't close to ready yet .I’ve said Moore wasn’t my pick plenty of times but based on what I’ve seen so far this year and last, he should go back for another year.
