If Pat is done, I'm done with Pat.

We're only in year 3 of the reset rebuild. Verbeek stated rebuilds usually take five years, minimum. Things are looking on point on the development of plenty of youths as well as the collection of youth talents. We found a potential #1D superstar in his D+6 season, just to put development and time into perspective. And if we keep hitting on defensemen, then we keep increasing our trade capital for NHL talent soon.

Franchise goalie: Dostal ✅
Top-6 All-star: Terry ✅
Top pairing D: LaCombe ✅

We just need to build around those pillars, but it's gonna take time for our youths to get there... and an offensive-minded head coach.

Damn, what about the guy who was hearing rumblings?

They arrived.

If the bruins really want to tear it down we should trade for Mcavoy at the draft if our pick lands close enough to the top to interest them

GOD DAMNIT... Sharks got Ostapchuk... Sharks continue to kill it.

I was praying the Senators would be interested in Lundy/Leason/Fabbri. I wanted a young guns line of Cutter-Ostapchuk-Goalngelo
So you'd have two offensive wingers paired with a center who has 1g 3a in 50 NHL games? Why? If I were Cutter or Colangelo I'd ask for a trade immediately! Gaucher can fill that zero offense role just as well as Ostapchuk.

Dude these guys are playing 13 minutes a night as 4rth liners right now. Your talking like they are playing as top 6 players with leverage to demand a trade. Ostapchuk would be a complementary player and has shown more offensively than Gaucher. But I guess you know more about his potential than Shark scouts looking at his stats…

C'mon...look at that trade thread. SJ fans hate the trade considering what they gave up and NO ONE is saying that Ostapchuk belongs on a scoring line. And the last I looked, both Gauthier and Colangelo were playing on scoring lines. Now if Grier wants his team to be bigger and tougher that's fine and totally understandable. But - like Gaucher - Ostapchuk is going to make his NHL living checking and punishing opponents on the 4th line. He should be put nowhere near a scoring forward on his own team.

No idea what the Hawks are thinking, feel like they should have taken on some cap/contracts for players.

They need to get some talent around Bedard ASAP or things or going to get ugly.
