Yeah and we do need more scoring. He is not as good as he used to be but for this team could easily add more scoring.

He's been decent for them and they got him basically for free from Detroit.

I understand they stink but they have Celebrini, Dickinson, and another likely top-3 pick this season. You don't want to move out most of your vets and potentially go backwards next season again.

Walman has been a nice fit for them.

Isn't he a massive head case? They got a 2nd rounder to take him. Might as well get even more.

Avs like to add gritty forwards before the playoffs too.

Depending on what else they do, there could also be a spot available for Marchand at 3RW.

Random thought, and I know it doesn't fit with Bednar's pace of play (sometimes the Avs are ok with that, see Lindgren, Saad, etc.) but something about trading for ROR and Marchand for the 3rd line feels like something they could do.

Maybe they trade for ROR, Marchand, and Carlo, and find a way to move out Wood? Not my ideal deadline, but it's better than some alternatives. Lacking some offense on D though. Wish they could find a two way RD.

Unless he's unhappy here I don't see Colton waiving for a non playoff team. In the offseason, sure.
 
I think the Bs could have interest in Malinski, too. Is there a blockbuster to be made?

We have just over 3M in space. It could work.

Marchand would make a lot of sense. I know people have been fighting me on the need for another winger, but the Avs absolutely need another guy on the wing. Between Nuke’s uncertainty, and the extent of Drouin’s injury is unknown, we definitely need another offensive player. Even healthy, Kivi as a regular on the 3rd line is simply not good enough.

I believe our top 6 can keep up with other teams top 6, IF healthy.
Our bottom 6 will get caved in and lose us a series. I have no doubt.

I actually think Marchand would be an excellent addition. Need one more guy, but god I’d love that little rat in our bottom 6
