Can't really complain about this result, Denmark are no joke and winning by 3 goals is never a given. They should have scored more to put the game away, but it could have been much closer as well when you look at Siegenthaler's save.

There are still too many mistakes, it's now 12 games in a row allowing at least 2 goals and this can't go on. The next two games will decide if they can avoid Sweden and Canada, and against the US and Germany you just have to be focused or you will be punished. Meier is so frustrating, hopefully his offensive production keeps cancelling his lack of involvement in the play. Hofmann has to play way better, and some defenders have to be more careful with the puck.

And more importantly, this Fiala situation must end. I'd be happy to have the Kings dissolved if this can help, there no need for an organisation that apparently doesn't employ anyone who knows how to write their name at the bottom of a form.

Hofmann was benched in the last period, Bertschy didn't play that great, either. I agree, we have a good team, but Fiala is the missing puzzle piece.

I hope we will get some positive news regarding Fiala today. Le Matin is still writing that it has been assured to them that Fiala will come and also Weibel told in a SRF interview on Friday that they are cautiously optimistic about him.

Edit: according to RSI, Fiala will arrive today in Denmark and will likely play against USA! Very good news!

I would leave Moy in the 1st and put Fiala on the 2nd instead of Riat. And Riat should go to the 3rd for Hofmann

You have to be realistic, last year's team had a chance to win it all but without Fiala, Josi and Niederreiter they wouldn't have been anywhere close, and that's not considering the role played by players like Thürkauf, Scherwey, Simion or Haas, neither the fact that no team was as loaded as Canada and Sweden are this year. Winning a quarterfinal would already be a good achievement this year. Obviously overachieving 2013 style is always possible, but not something to be expected.

Fiala and Hischier work well together, I don't think it's a good idea to split them. Plus a player of Fiala's caliber is maybe what's needed to get Meier more involved. Andrighetto and Malgin work better with someone who can put pressure on the net and Riat is doing well in that role so far. I'd have Moy with Bertschy and Jäger.

I mean after last year Fiala has to play with Hischier, they had a great chemistry. Where to put Moy is the most important question. And who do you take out. Hofmann? You cannot take out Moy. Also Knak, Schmid and Baechler played too good. Ambühl? He is very versatile, but his influence is decreasing.
I still think Knak is underused. He should play PP instead of Ambühl in front of the net.

PP is also the question. Neither Kukan nor Glauser are great shooters like Josi or Loeffel. Maybe try Fiala with Nico, Meier, Moy and Moser and then a second unit around Malgin, Ghetto, Riat, Knak and Kukan or Glauser
