Since November the Oilers have the best record in the league, followed closely by Vegas, Colorado, and LA. Unfortunately getting out of the west could be pretty hard this year.

IMHO, the West will again come down to who can stay healthy.

I also wouldn't count the Jets out -- different coach, different attitude, different team.

Vegas, Dallas, Colorado, Edmonton the favorites again. Winnipeg has been super healthy, no?

Dallas has been kind of an underachiever thus far. Prior to the season I would have expected them and Winnipeg to swap spots. Wonder if they'll ponder a coaching change if they stay in that wild card spot going forward.

They’re on a measly 107 point pace whilst having the most dreadful powerplay imaginable for a team of their roster.

Add in the fact that they quite literally never go on losing streaks and will have 10 million in LTIR space to add to the roster and I think they’ll be fine lmao.

If their powerplay positively regresses, they’re probably the co-favorites in the West once again w/ Edmonton (and might surpass them depending on how they use their LTIR space).

Took longer for Steve Spott to ruin you guys than I thought it would

Colorado is gonna be the team to beat if they can stay healthy. Blackwood completely changes the dynamic of this team.

Landeskog gonna be a game changer as well.
Maybe inspirationally, but there's almost zero chance his play is anywhere near "game changer" level considering where his body is at and how long he's been out, if he even plays again (which I'm still not sure is certain).
