Curious what contract people will be happy with for Donato? I think anything under 4 for 3 or 4 years would be great.
if he gets a dickinson contract 4.25 x 2 i wouldn't pout. like most everyone else i'd rather see high picks or a good prospect coming back for him, but oh well.

KD makes such weird moves. Trading to move up in the draft a month before, trying to trade his unprotected 2025 first for last years 4oa very last minute, not trading away a 28 year old UFA having a career year

Has he ever traded away a rental for assets?

KD setting his price and not moving on it. Everyone knew that hes not as good as the last few months. Whatever. Sign him 2 years whatever price. Please no more then that.

off season .... just a feeling he is feeling the pressure of helping Bedard.
pretty sure barstool chief threw out a random rumor the summer they drafted bedard that he heard EP wants to force his way to Chicago, a very random rumor so if it happens....

It's a UFA contract. A "reasonable contract" is still worse than a slight overpay RFA deal.

This is brutal. Davidson might be straight up afraid of 2nd round picks [those draft day trades were bad] because he doesn't want to have to make decisions on prospects.

That is nonsense

Hawks keeping DOnato for our playoff run here? Getting 2nd > Nothing > Giving him awful extension

its absolutely a wasted opportunity if you leave a 2nd on the table in a tank year
In this hypothetical scenario a late 2 is not a huge miss. Would I prefer they have moved him? Sure. I’m also not naive enough to think that not moving him is a catastrophe

lets just say this...if they give him a 5m aav for 2 years and he ends up waiver wire worthy its starting to become a fireable offense between all the money they've wasted on these types of deals...Mrazek, Brodie, AA etc

I wanted to be wrong about Donato being worth a 1st to teams, but dang, i guess that had to be a limit
