And just like that Lauko is back. Not sure i love the return though if we're honest. But also wasn't expecting a ton

Braz and Kastelic are two of the only Bruins we needed to keep... size, grit, and still put up points. Traded for something we already gave up on?

Get the discord ready folks

Braz is certainly big but grit? Not rly. Production? Falling off quick
Wild certainly felt he was worth that return. I agree with them. Bruins need more of that, not less.
I was big on Lauko as a rookie. But he has 9 goals in 3 years combined..... and doesnt bring the toughness or power forward aspect of Braz. Dumb.

VGK does not have a first as usual. I think its the Avs or bust for Marchy. I am not sure the Oil give him the right slot as a second line wing, crazy as that sounds.

Other than taking the odd shot in front Braz brought no toughness. He could not catch either of my grandmothers to hit em-and their dead.

Yeah, honestly in my opinion Braz should have been waived at the same time as Wahlstrom. He has been godawful in 2025, just an absolutely waste of space on the ice. So I'm stunned they got something for him in a deal

Lauko is objectively a tougher player than Brazeau, I have no idea what you’re talking about. You merely have to pull up each of their respective fight pages, or even just watch them play to know this

They basically got Lauko who is a 4th line upgrade, a one or two dollar lottery ticket in mr. K, and a sixth for Braz, who was worth maybe a fourth or fifth. Good value trade. Sweeney had to start somewhere.

People truly underrate how heavy Brazeau hits. On a Bruins team that lacked any physicality despite the size, he made an effort to finish hits even when the offense vanished.

Good asset management by Sweeney as he was not likely to return but he will have a career as a decent 4th liner.

Lauko has speed and will instigate which will entertain us during the losing hockey. Perhaps Sweeney reads here on occasion.

Have to imagine Marchand is traded soon at this rate. Geekie as RFA and chemistry with Pastrnak is likely not going to receive the offer that makes it worthwhile to the Bruins?
