That means nothing.

Look at the graduates of the last 10 years instead of naming players who were drafted over 10 to 20 years ago.

It's very slim pickings because it's a shit league.
A shit league........

Discusting comment....jeez.

Unbelievable

Btw..don't be surprise if Desnoyers has a better career than Martone for example

No shit. That's not the point. My point was that a shit league can be misleading. It is a shit league. Take off the obvious fleur-de-lys glasses and put down the blue and white pompoms for a minute and look up its graduates of the last 10 years. Hockey Quebec as a whole is in a truly dark era and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel with how good the US program is becoming.

I wish it was better, but it's not. I'm far from the only one saying this. It's pretty much a concensus now, and people like you cheerleading it no matter what, doesn't help. If you can't be critical of the things you like, you end-up being simply a fanboy.

A waak league but they win the Memorial Cup half of the time..

Crosby, Mackinnon, Letang etc played here.

WhL is not ehat it use to be..
That's been quite awhile ago Crosby and those guys. About 20 years I'd guess. Quebec hockey been spiralling down. Long time since first line forward from Quebec.

Pierre Luc Dubois last top 6 forward come out of Quebec. Then he's debatable. Mavrik Bourque might be mid liner. Memorial Cup usually bad judge of junior talent because stars are generally playing pro. Bedard and those guys.

Lolll guys everywhere in the Roc said the same thing when Crosby was there and even when Lemieux was there in the 80s

Nothing ever changed about that btw.

I remember so well when people were saying that Kirk Muller will be better than Mario Lemieux cause one played i the Ohl and the other in the Q.

...or even that Gilbert Brule would be better than Crosby....Whl vs Q.

But I didn't say anything like that. I simply said that because it's a shit league, it can be misleading. You seem to have a hard time with reading comprehension.

You also twice ignored my request to spell out Q graduates from the last 10 years, proof of an extremely biased fanboy.

I never said any of those things. You argue like a 5 year old with his fingers plugged in his ears.

Yeah the question is Desnoyers and I am telling you that he could have a better career than Martone cause he plays a complete game.

The Q had nothing to do with it. He would be a complete player in the OHl either..

Stop using what others have said. Why don't you name the graduates of the last 10 years? Compare it to the previous 10 years, and so forth. It's not the same league it was in the 80's and 90's. It doesn't produce even close to what it used to.

I'm probably as old or older than you are. It makes for a bad argument. Notwithstanding your very immature way of debating ideas.

You don't know how he would look in the OHL because the overall compete is not the same. The Q can skew perception on players. Some make it out like Dobson, but others like Zadina is where you see the perception getting skewed.

Not to be a Q defender, but your argument is pretty meaningless. The Q in 2024 is not the Q in 2023 or 2022 etc... you have to evaluate each year uniquely. The Q is really high end this year. And the fact that a guy like Desnoyers is pretty universally looked at as a top 15 (maybe even top 10) guy with a ton of room for growth is clearly indicative of that.

But to be clear, how much of Desnoyers have you watched?
