Post-Game Talk: 2025? More like 2020-five past Igor

I feel like they are approaching that point of no return for the season. Does Drury let this thing go on and thinks it will correct itself, or Does he pull the plug on this season? Still a lot of hockey left… 47 games left I think?

Can they get out of this funk. Yeah it’s possible the skill is there, can they make the playoffs and did want Edmonton did last year when they were last place in their division in the beginning of the season?

I'm still have hope that this dumb league, full of dumb hockeymen who love to bail each other out, will be willing to take Zibanejad off our hands without too much penalty.
I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised by what the likes of Lindgren, Zibanejad, Kreider, and Miller garner

Man, talk about being sent right back to Limbo land.

Angel of Death lurking, but put on hold now for one more game:
Kreider - scores a goal
Lindgren - scores a goal
Lavi - will get credit tonite for team playing (mostly) well

Bad optics for Drury to do anything with them at this point in time. So we wait again for his next move.

Latter on I will be posting the post game interviews. Trocheck repeats what Boyle is saying in the Post Game Show.
“If we play that way most nights we’re going to have a good chance to win.”
He is not even aware of the defensive side of the game. It was dismal.

Wouldn't it be something if the Rangers fired Laviolette tomorrow, hired Jay Woodcroft, and he led this team to a Cup?

The schadenfreude from Edmonton would last a lifetime.

I sure am glad we got rid of Kakko for Borgen and some trash. Dude sucks. Drury is just awful at these kinds of moves.

Also not sure why people are so upset with Igor. This teams defense is absolutely atrocious - every pair has an anchor right now, some have 2.

Present day Stu Bickel is better than Borgen

Borgen has been last or second to last on the AV stat sheet since he got here, but he can choke slam fine. The only reason he wasn't last again tonight, it because Miller made every bad play you can make as a D-man.

Got walked and gave his man a breakaway for the near goal, but to make it worse, he's the one who cleared it back to the point that kept the play alive for the panthers for the eventual goal. He was also pretty useless during the extra man where he, again, clears the puck right to a Panther's player.

Hard to outdo Mika's blind assist for the first Panther's goal but, yeah.

I think he's only concerned with compete level right now, they're that far down.

And what has Kakko done since joining Seattle? At worst we traded each other's trash.
