I don't know, Miller's continuing unwillingness to even bump a guy to slow him down is criminal.

He made some physical plays the first game back, but it did look like he was trying to over compensate for a team in free fall and first game back. He made a few good plays, but overall looked rusty, and after maybe trying to do too much in his first game back, a little sore. I think his issue, like many on the team right now, is he isn't sure what he wants to be. Thats on everybody, coaches and FO as well.

I can't imagine how deflating it can be to be a guy like Cuylle on his ELC making pennies watching a combined $20M in Mika and Igor just shit the bed every game within the opening minutes. How does Mika not get Blue falconed at practice? Oh because he probably sat out the optional practice.

If Fil Chytil hasn't earned top minutes after that game it's time for a new coach. Mika is toast, nothing he does helps the team at all. They are trying to get him "going", there's nothing left, he's a shell of himself. He's way overpaid but if you want this team to be successful he's gonna be on the 3rd or 4th line and on the pk. That's it. It's time to stop this insanity. Trade Kreider, hope Zib wants out, these guys aren't getting it together in NY. Lindgren leaves as well, call up Othmann then you have your retool, if you can trade for a no nononsense type of player to be the leader of the team then please do that too. The fact that Kreider and Zibs have sucked for so long and this team still thinks we need them to get going to win says a lot about the management and it's time for Drury to go.

He isn’t moving like he usually does and missed 3-4 with back issues. Highly doubtful he us fully healthy. He hadn’t had a good year we know that and I’m sure CK is as pissed st himself as anyone. I doubt it’s a conspiracy

Something is seriously wrong with Mika. Pointless and a -8 in his last eight (-22 total) is such an amazing stat for a supposed 1C.

Mika has looked miserable for a couple of years now. He needs to take personal time away from the team if I had to guess the problem.

It seems like with Mika is completely mental. He is clearly distracted and not engaged. Family life is top priority but most players have families so it’s not an excuse unless something serious is happening. We know he had businesses and the music which he is focused on . So it seems like it’s mental but sobering needs to be done. Either he needs a psychologist or something

I mean I fully get your point BUT... Mika is untradeable right now. Might be for a while.

As for Kreider, I honestly feel that Drury realizes he HAS to clearly win that trade if not fleece someone.

Could you imagine this place (HF as a microcosm of sorts for the fans / media et all) if he deals the guy who's # is going up next, homegrown & one of the all time leading goal scorers for a Buch return?

Honestly, the effort was there but KAM had some egregious decision making and Zibanejads no look twirling back hand to the middle of the ice is the kind of shit that needs to stop.

I watched the NHL Network (FL broadcast) of this and am completely incredulous that they thought both of those goals weren't even debatable.

I mean, Shesterkin had the puck against the post and the guy jabs his pad and spins him around. Really? The other one the guy clearly bumped his hand AND had a skate in the crease without being pushed in.

Didn't help that Igor got outplayed by Bob either. When it rains, it pours and this sad sack group can't buy a break.

The flicking the puck into open space so someone skates into it began with AV and is so f***ing tired as a main principle of offense. It's worse when it's a blind flick based on the hope that someone is there to receive it. And only this team relies on it. Other teams do it but not as their only means of exiting the zone on transition.
