I know. What I am saying is any player that did throw a hit there would have flattened him.

I already feel for Brady if the Bruins do indeed take him, he will never live up to what this fanbase will expect from the next "Sam Bennett / Tom Wilson"
something tells me the kid has a great head on his shoulders, I`ll be happy to have a kid who plays like he gives a shit, that would be nice

Do you guys think the look at a goalie in this draft ?
I'd be surprised if they don't pick a goalie at some point. They typically like to have at least one goalie in the pipeline regardless of the situation in Boston. DiPietro and Bussi may walk. There seem to be some doubts about Svedeback's potential. Zajicek is a complete unknown. It seems like this year is a decent one for goalies so I wouldn't be surprised if they used one of their seconds or third to pick one of the top goalies if they are still available (not saying I'd agree with the move).

Im looking at two goalies. One with their second pick in round 2 and one in the seventh.

Donnie ... you've traded the pick for Peterka, Rossi, MacTavish, Necas and probably others, make up your mind! I hope you aren't as unsure when choosing Doritos flavours ...
Throwing out ideas to prevent Donny from reaching on that valuable 7th overall pick. I have nightmares when he goes up on the podium. Donny draft record is very suspect but his trading history is much better.

The trouble is, yes it does matter at the NHL level. That’s why the average height is 6’1” and the average weight is 201. That doesn’t exclude a smaller guy from being successful (Brad Marchand), but it seems to make it less likely. Especially when you are considering the physicality of a player as a prime attribute.

Does it matter enough to have people drooling over a guy that hasn’t been able to show a lot (right or wrong) because he’s 6’5”?….I don’t think so. But you’d be remiss to not wonder if physical play exhibited by and under average-sized player in lesser leagues can possibly be replicated against the biggest & strongest in the world.
You're not wrong but I'm guessing Martin ends up 6'1" 200lbs or more so I'm not worried about that.

I’m right with you - only difference is if 4 teams staffs are that high on Martin I’ll defer but if any of Desnoyers, Frondell, even Hagens pop through I’m on them~ then Eklund & O’Brien. But I’ll be very good with Martin as well. McQueen I won’t hate it but there will be multiple of the others available

Me
Desnoyers
Frondell
Hagens
Eklund
JOB
Martin

All hell yeh

McQueen
Mrtka
Aitchenson

Will embrace legit but think 2-3 spots early
This is exactly where I'm at. I'd add Martone to that first group but he's likely gone by 7. I'm really happy with any of those 6 but I keep flip flopping on which C I like the best. Went from Frondell to Desnoyers to Hagens and now JOB is creeping up there. Love Martin as well though and Eklund should be a great winger.

This is absolutely my fear. They seem obsessed with size and lousy at drafting size that turns into anything.

McQueen specifically scares me in that regard. But on the other hand, if the draft goes by the chalk, he’d have the highest upside of anyone left right? So there’s a case to grab him.

Absolutely. I dont think hes a center, but he could be corey perry. Great hands, great in tight, kind of a tough physical player. He could also be logan brown. Who knows?
