Absolutely. I dont think hes a center, but he could be corey perry. Great hands, great in tight, kind of a tough physical player. He could also be logan brown. Who knows?
McQueen is far from a Corry Perry if compared to their junior stats. Perry had 113 points and 98 PMs his last season.

Mcqueen might score 113 in his last junior season too. And he had more goals per game than perry in his draft year. Not quite the PIMs per game but still he averaged a penalty a game. I doubt he becomes corey perry. I just see him as the ceiling

Don't know much about McQueen. You could be correct. I did see Perry play a lot against the Rangers in junior. He was a hell of a handful to cover.

And Perry played his whole draft year as a 17 year old, and then had a dominant postseason. McQueen played his whole draft year as an 18 year old

Ya I don't see why they would. They have a pair of 1st & pair of 2nd's In these next two drafts. The only way I see them doing it is if they start flipping picks for young nhl talent. At some point they have to start building around their young studs.
Imagine Donny did get misa somehow that's our number 1 center for at least a decade. One can dream.

Given where the Bruins are, I don’t think the difference in potential between Misa and who will be there at 7 is worth emptying the asset bank for. If anything we need to get more picks and prospects, though I also would not trade down from 7 for more picks either.
All depends on the return and where the picks at.

I'd love to get Buffalo's 9th. They want NHL players but I don't think we have anyone that valuable (that we can part with).

A lot of noise up here in the Montreal media about the Habs trading up.

So , for shits a giggles what if the very unlikely happens ?

Bruins turn to pick and Desnoyer is sitting right there ( as per NHL Draft Rankings he goes 7th) . Habs fans have been Jonesing for a Qubecois player for more than a minute .

They offer their 2 1sts and their 2 seconds , so 16th, 17th, 41st and 49th . What say thee? Would you take less?

I'd take it and then try to trade back into the top 10 or close to it.

Maybe I’m crazy but I might say no? Less appealing if Carbonneau ultimately doesn’t make it to 16…

If you did the scenario, with 2-1sts and 4-2nds total post trade, I’m going to shopping with a player or two in hand for a higher first, top 6 improvement, and Ryan Howard.

For a Bruins GM, handing the Habs Caleb Desnoyers, for 4 wild cards is your fast pass ticket to getting fired. Possibly even publicly crucified.

To go through the exercise though, I would absolutely take Cullen Potter and Carbonneau. Then trade some of my for 2nd round picks for immediate help.
