AHL: 2025-2026 WBS Penguins (Wheeling too, I guess)

I rewatched that Cowan play and the ref very clearly indicated that he had gotten both calls, he was emphatic about it as if to tell the Penguins to not try seeking retribution that would cancel the second penalty out. Very cowardly to reneg.

I can't decide if Murashov is prime Fluery or current Skinner. Which avoids beach balls the best?

AHL playoffs means nothing, but not really impressed with a single player on WBS this run besides Brunicke. Kind of further reinforcement that our prospect pool is a lot of mid to bad.
I’d say Brunicke, Ilyin, Zonnon and Murashov improved their stocks, McGroarty, Broz and Howe (and most of the others) didn’t hurt their stocks and Koivunen and Hayes were pretty disappointing.

Pickering tough to judge due to injuries but likely falls in that middle group.

Some of our worst players were vets like Koppanen and Aho and they’re f***ing gone. RHP pretty much invisible outside of that game 5 against Springfield.

All-in-all it was a decent run for a pretty young team.

Hayes, Koivunen, and Mcgroarty are pretty bad. They literally make no difference whatsoever even in the AHL.

I cannot believe how bad AHL hockey is though. Truly 2 steps behind the NHL, no one shoots when they're supposed to, they hold on to the puck too long, they don't make normal reads, force things that aren't there. Bad hockey.

Im so relieved I never have to watch Joona Koppanen ever again. Really proud of how the team played, given the D corps were decimated. Now this is officially it for me this season. Its been a blast. Most likely will be posting some stuff from prospect camp next month.

Took a bunch of video tonight. Will be going through and posting some things here and there just to keep my channel active.

Well at least we know an aversion to and inability to play against trap hockey infects the entire organization lol…
I think it's also an indicator that there are a lot of solid, quality complementary players but they are lacking high level game breakers.

At the NHL level, their most dangerous players are approaching retirement.

At the AHL, they simply don't exist.

This organization has made substantial progress in restocking the cupboard, but it's still got a ways to go.

The McGroarty part is wrong. He was IMO their best forward.

Thanks for all the updates throughout

That Tony guy posted some clips on Twitter where he looked like a buzzsaw. All Swedish no Finnish though.
