Nah plenty of teams have inquired, including PSG. Gala's price has been 30M for a while now.
Gala isn’t wrong to ask for it though. Don’t think it’s an unreasonable price honestly.

Looks like Bayern getting over the finish line

Liverpool will need a new sporting director after this window as well.

Damn. Might as well get new owners and change everything.
I wonder if this paves the way (sort of) for Salah to Saudi in the summer? It would be a massive loss for the club as a whole but a new manager/sporting director coming in with a complete 100m+ FFP boost to revamp the squad as they see fit might be very appealing towards candidates.

They completely should but I also get why big teams don't want to spend 30 on a question mark. I expect a mid table EPL team to spend those 30.

Maybe. I think it's up to the player more than anything. I don't think he really wants to go. The whole Egypt / Saudi is much more complicated than most of us are aware. It's a bucket of money, but he also feels (and possibly rightly) that he can play at a high level until his later 30s. So, there's time if he wants to go to a third rate league (if that).

There's likely money to revamp the squad anyhow based upon CL qualification and revenue upticks. But we shall see.

Too many broke teams with FFP. Now isn't the time. Summer? Sure.

A couple of loans for two once highly touted youngsters, Luke Thomas from Leicester to Boro, and Carmo from Porto to Olympiakos. I never rated Thomas but I'm a bit surprised Carmo hasn't established himself at Porto yet.

And another Brazilian youngster at Shakhtar, this time the 20yo Marlon Gomes from Vasco. Right sided dm, 12 mil, but watch them flip him for more than double in a few years.

Carmo had a really bad knee injury that ruined him

They'll get a lot more $$$ from promotion, they're in a totally fine financial position, he's been the POTY in the Championship, and he'll prob be worth even more in the summer. There's no reason for them to even entertain selling, I don't get it
I agree that it does not make a ton of sense. Maybe the player wants to move and Leicester are feeling comfortable with their 8 point lead.

Leicester are on pace to win the Championship, do they want to get relegated next year?

Also, Napoli SD came out and said that Osimhen will leave in the summer to "Real, PSG, or to an EPL club). We know that Perez will go after Mbappe first, but possible they have Osimhen in their sights. PSG will have the funds if they do sell Mbappe and will need a striker, and Arsenal desperately need a striker and has been rumoured to be after him for the past two years. Interesting to see what happens because Napoli will not negotiate, they will want whoever it is to pay his release clause.

Mbappé is a free agents. PSG cannot sell him... unless they do it this week.
